“Nooo!” I shouted, and my husband glared at me before grabbing Valerie’s arm and shoving her in Ruston’s direction.
“You have your answer. Ruston take her away! Aries, you will marry my daughter if you want to save this alliance!” I watched on in horror as my dearest husband had just ruined our future! I tried to explain it to him, but he wasn’t clever enough to see the bigger picture. When he didn’t understand, I hoped that Valerie had already accepted Aries as her mate and that he wouldn’t be able to force his plan on them. Her rejection of Aries was not part of my damn plan!
