Valerie’s POV
“How did you know?!” My eyes were wide and I prayed to the moon goddess that nobody else knew.
“Luna told me.” Emily giggled and I was even more surprised. Emily actually giggled!
“Wait,” I frowned and stopped right in front of her bedroom door. “How did Luna know?” My voice sounded like a squeaky toy again, and Emily stepped into her room while explaining that “Alpha” Aries called Luna to invite me out for lunch.
“Wait, do you mean he planned to take me out?” I frowned, feeling utterly confused and annoyed at myself for being so damn naïve.
