I grabbed another file and paged through it. My office was covered with dusty boxes filled with pack records, but none of them contained the one file I was looking for! My dad was right after all. The records containing Valerie’s information were gone, along with all the records of the pack members that left. I did however find out that most of our current ranked members weren’t born ranked in the pack. They were given their ranks.
It seemed the Luna made sure that they were surrounded by wolves that weren’t ranked. Probably, so that if they were ever discovered, they wouldn’t have wolves that were stronger than them turning on them. It also appeared as if some of these so-called ranked members weren’t even born Moon Stone pack members. The original ranked members' memories
