It was only a short walk, barely ten mins. When I walked through the front door both my mother and father were sat to the table waiting for me as though they had planned some sort of intervention for me.
“Everything ok?” I asked as I walked slowly towards them.
“Of course, how is everything with you? anything new happened lately?” My mother asked me, eyeing me strangely.
“Yeah” I sat down in one of the chairs opposite them, both of them staring at me like they were waiting for something. “Why are you both looking at me like that and acting weird?”
“We're not acting weird at all are we Kane” My mother elbowed my father in the ribs making him agree with her.
