Chapter 13 weird

Anna’s P.O.V

  The next two months flew by really fast and was filled with going to classes, doing our test to see whether we were ready to graduate or not. There were a lot of parties held for peoples birthdays and watching as people did their first shifts, but then the two months were over and it was the day of graduation. Everyone was hurrying to get ready and my dad had so many cameras that I thought he was going to be going on safari instead of watching me graduate. 

  “Anna, your dad says that the only way he will let you wear that dress is if you wear a shawl around your shoulders.” My mom said and I rolled my eyes as I groaned.

  “Seriously, he decides to say this on the day of graduation before we leave.” I reply, but my mom winks at me.

  “Well, he told me last night, but he never specified what type of shawl and how thick it had to be, so I found this one out.” My mom said, wrapping a light shawl around my shoulders. I looked in the mirror and was surprised to see that it really complimented my dress.

  “You look even more beautiful, Anna.” My mom said, hugging me from behind.

  “Thanks mom.” I replied, hugging her back. We walked downstairs and my dad looked at me before nodding his approval.

  “You look beautiful sweetheart and I’m glad you agreed to wear a shawl, it's not exactly what I meant and your mother knew that, but you look gorgeous.” My dad said, hugging me and laughed at my mother as she looked around innocently, making me laugh too. By the time we finally managed to get to the school and sign in, it was time for us all to take our seats. Graduation went by really fast and when my name was called out my mom and dad stood up, cheering, clapping and whistling for me as my dad took a load of pictures. When it was all over we went back home and I checked the mail to find a large package sticking out of the mailbox. I pulled it out and saw that it was addressed to me. I decided to go and get changed before opening it up and quickly ran up to my room, throwing my dress and shawl off before putting on a pair of jeans and a vest top. I went back downstairs to the kitchen, holding the package in my hands and took a knife out of the draw, cutting it open. I looked inside and saw that it was from the college I had applied for, so I quickly started reading the letter.

  “OH MY GODDESS!!! YES!!!” I screamed out in excitement as my mom and dad came into the kitchen and looked at me confused.

  “I got in, I got in. oh my Goddess, I got in. I start in five months, so that gives me plenty of time to shop for everything I need adn get stuff for my dorm. It's close by so that I can still come home and visit.” I said, not stopping for breath as I was too excited. My mom and dad quickly caught on to what I was talking about and they were just as excited as I was, they hugged me tightly, cheering for me and my dad picked both me and my mom up, twirling us around.

  “We are so very proud of you, Anna. how would you like to celebrate? We can do anything you want.” My dad asked and there was only one thing I wanted to do.

  “I want to order a pizza and watch a movie with you two.” I replied and my mom smiled at me. I knew it was her favourite thing to do when she was younger and before she met my dad, but it was also my favourite thing to do as well. I loved spending time with my family. My dad nodded and ordered the pizza while my mom and I went to go and pick a movie to watch.

  Unknown Hunter’s P.O.V (revealed)

  “Huntson, do you really think we can do this? That we can get r, but how are we going to do this without failing?” Chuck asked me.

  “Chuck, don't worry about that, leave the planning up to me. Before we know it we will have a she-wolf to hunt and play with when we are done. We are going to get a lot of money for this one, just you wait and see. Everyone is going to want a piece of the action and we are going to be rich. We just need to get her away from her friends and family, that's all, but we will figure that out soon enough.” I replied, watching her every move and looking at the young she-wolf.

  Anna’s P.O.V

  It felt so surreal, in a few months I would be going to college, so I should make a start and sort out the things I want to take with me, but my wolf keeps wanting to go out for a run and it's distracting me. I looked outside and it was still daylight, so I didn't see a problem with letting her out for a bit.

  “Mom, Lizzy is bugging me so I’m going to let her out and go for a run.” I said, mind-linking my mom.

  “Okay sweetie, just be careful.” My mom replied and I ended the link. I jumped out of my bedroom window and shifted midair, landing on my paws and letting Lizzy run off into the woods. We ran for what felt like hours and finally ended up resting at a pond, the soft breeze felt good on my fur. I walked towards the pond, dipping my head down to drink some of the water and then laid on the grass to rest. I shifted back into my human form and pulled on a pair of shorts and a top I found hidden in a tree, then sat back down on the grass again. I lifted my head up, feeling the sun on my face and I was so into sunbathing that it made me jump when I heard twigs being broken behind me. It sounded like someone was there, but I couldn't smell anything, so I carried on sunbathing. I snapped out of my daydream and stood up when I heard more twigs breaking and looked all around me.

  “WHOS THERE?” I shouted, calling out for whoever it was to reveal themselves, but there was no answer.

  “If you're going to peep on at me then you might as well come out and show yourself.” I said, but again there was no reply. I still couldn't smell anyones scent and that made the hair on the back of my neck stand on end, whoever or whatever it was didnt want to be seen. I watched as dead twigs and small branches from the trees broke off and hit the ground, maybe that's what it was. The sun was going down now, so I stripped off my clothes and placed them back into the tree before shifting back into my wolf and running back home. Whatever it was that crept me out scared me. Maybe it wasn't anything, but it still scared me. I jumped back in through the window of my bedroom and shifted back, grabbing my robe and putting it on.

  “I’m back mom.” I said, mind-linking her.

  Unknown Werebear’s P.O.V

  I have been hiding and running for so long that I didn't know how to act around people anymore. The hunters found me a few days ago and I had to run once again, I ran so fast and so far, but when I eventually stopped due to exhaustion I realised I was on someone's territory. I decided to hide up in a tree, not wanting to risk being caught, but then I saw this beautiful pure white wolf come running to the pond nearby. She drank a little of the water and then shifted back into her human form, I watched as she put some clothes on and laid back, letting the sun hit her face. I was so into watching her that I almost slipped off the thick branch I was sitting on. The limbs of the tree hit the ground and this immediately scared her as she stood up and looked around. She called out into the woods and her voice was magical, but then she shifted back into her wolf form and took off running away from the pond. I wished I had followed her, but I was worried that the hunters might find me and follow me. If they found where I was hiding then they would definitely kill me this time, if I could make it back to the cave then no one will be able to find me.
