“Human, explain this. How did you come by these bodies?”
Rain moved one body with her boot, “I didn’t come by anything. I saw a tall Dwarf in the city and something told me to follow him--“
King Gimadin liked this human, though he would never admit to such. “A warrior’s intuition?”
“Something like that.”
“And?”
“In a run-down building on the edge of the city, I found him with another. The one I followed was one of these Dewar. The other wore robes the color of gra--“ Rain spotted Undek out of the corner of her vision. He was dressed in gray robes too long for his frame.
“Go on,” said the King.
“They attacked,” Rain shrugged. “They lost.”
King Gimadin stepped back, sitting once again on his throne. He looked to Arastor, “You found them across from my bedchamber.”
