After confirming that Pulsifini and Ruby were in the rose garden, I was finally relieved. I was so scared that she was running around.
I called Erin and retracted the previous punishment for the cook. He could still stay in the kitchen, but not in the same room as Pulsifini.
Pulsifini is avoiding me. She avoided communicating with me and would not do anything she could get the other maids to do. When I specified that she should come to see me, she would keep her head down and would not make any eye contact with me. I couldn't bear to force her, so I had to let her go.
I had dinner with Gladys and could have gotten another maid if Pulsifini didn't want to come, but she came anyway.
"Sir, Miss Bard, dinner is here."
