Celeste’s POV
The day of the tea party has finally arrived.
“Are you excited for the tea party?” Clara asks.
“Of course. It’s been so long since I feel like I’ve gone out like this. And if my plan works, it will just be another way for me to shut Annabelle down.” I say.
“She seems excited about the tea party as well.”
“I’m sure she thinks her plan will work. But I’m not going to let her get her way. Not with the imperial ball right around the corner. Everything will change after that night. And I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to predict her movements after that. So I need to have as much goodwill as I can get before hand.”
“Let’s finish getting you ready.” Clara says. I put on my pale blue dress and Clara does my hair.
