AN EXPEDITION TO the Thousand Island settlement required a lot of preparation, but Sheydu’s team took care of it with Ynggi and the other Pengali. They even managed to do this without disturbing Eirani. We would leave early in the morning on the next day.
We divided into two groups. Leisha would fly the craft with Thayu, Reida, Nicha, Mereeni, Evi and Telaris, Sheydu and her association, and Sirrgah and the kids. I would go with Ynggi, Deyu and Veyada in a boat to lead the convoy. Reida suggested that we could load the boat onto the craft, but Ynggi said at least some of us needed to accompany the Pengali fleet of merchant boats to make sure they got out of the delta safely.
