Chapter 56

Third Person’s POV

“Just like one of my promises, I asked people out to train you personally. Sooner or later you’ll meet them so...” Sir Ichigo roamed his eyes to see the reaction of the students in front of him. Everyone seems excited except for one.

And it is none other than their leader, Nathaniel Rosario.

Everyone’s attention went to the door that suddenly opened. There, it revealed the people that he asked to train the Paranormal Detectives squad.

“Great, you’re all here now. So I’m sure some of them are familiar to you,” he said and motion the trainers to stand in the front with him.

“Gene,” he called out. The latter stand up and walk toward the front where Ichigo is pointing at. He nodded at them and the trainer smiled widely at him.

“I’m Sheritan, your trainer for this special session.” She offered her hand in which Gene gladly grab and shakes it gently. Her delicate skin gives the impression that she’s weak but to PD and the Monster hunters and the other students, they all know the ability of Sheritan especially when she went berserk every time people are bullying her.

“You both have magical abilities and I’m sure she can handle your fire well. Air and Fire... What can you say?” Ichigo asked. They both nodded and in just a motion of her hand, they both disappear into thin air.

“Well, that was fast...” Ichigo said and chuckled a bit until someone interrupted and walk to the direction of one of the students.

“Yo bud! Come with me and test your ability,” Ros said and speedily run off the building with Remus who didn’t got a chance to speak before getting taken out of the room.

“And that is literally fast,” he continued while still looking at the open door. The paper on his desk were now in the air and scattered everywhere. He shook his head and roam his eyes on the squad to see which trainer match and has the most capability to enhance the skill of that student.

“Maria,” he called out. Maria stand up and roam her eyes on the two trainers left. Based on what happened earlier, the ration will be 1:1 so this is indeed a serious training session and a great prize since not everybody has a chance to be training with most of the members of the famous Monster Hunters.

“You have keen ears for paranormal beings so I’ll assigned you to her,” he pointed at Klio who is already scanning her from head to toe.

“I heard many things about you...” She said and smirks at her. She offers her hand for handshake but Maria refused and just bowed at her.

“I’d also like to request another member to be on my watch,” Klio points her fingers at Mica who’s eyes widen in shock and trembles a bit in excitement.

“Micaelle, you have a healing ability, right?” She asked and the former immediately nodded. She hurriedly grab her backpack from her seat and excitedly walks her way up to the front.

“We’ll be training near the healing grounds specific for people like you so...”

“Why am I in your team if it’s for students with healing ability only?” Maria asked and took a step back. Her twin sister calmed her down as she whispered soothing words in her ear.

“As I’ve heard, you’ve been possessed by numerous demons and ghosts or any other paranormal entities right?” She asked back. Maria nodded slowly and sighed when she realized the answer to her question.

“I’m sorry...” She slowly muttered while avoiding her gaze.

“No need to be sorry. By the way, do you know the reason why I said we will train near the healing ground?” Klio asked once more. Maria shook her head and shrugged her shoulders. She feels a bit red because of what she did earlier.

‘You should never question the reason of the trainers, Maria.’ She scolded herself.

“It is simply because... Why do you have to establish a healing ground if there are rooms here in the academy?”

The girls gasp when they realized the answer. Maria slowly raised her head and faced Klio directly.

“That is because the ground near it is full of paranormal entities and that ground helps to stop it from entering the academy,” Mica continued and is about to hug Maria but she took a step back and waved her hand goodbye without waiting for them and left the room.

“Bye, Ichigo. I’ll take it from here.” She waved her hand while the other one was in her pocket. Maria already went out and Mica is gathering her things before leaving out. Before going, Klio took one last glance to the two more students which are left. There are no more trainer in sight but she knows what will happen next. She signaled thumbs up and waved them good bye before completely going out.

“So you two are left... Carina at Nathan,” Ichigo called. He looks at his watch and starts counting down.

“5... 4... 3... 2...”

The door suddenly opens and reveals a man that made Nathan froze. His eyes widen in shock while his mouth gape while watching every step the new comer takes.

“1... Welcome and thank you for agreeing into this, Cashmere.”

Cashmere roams his eyes around and his orbs glistened when it met Nathaniel’s wide eyes. There is visible confusion and random reaction seen into them. The pressure in the room suddenly increased when they sensed the intensity of Cashmere and Nathan’s eye contact.

“It looks like you found the one you like to train. So let me introduce you to Nath—“

“I’ll take the girl.”

The room went silent when Cashmere said those while still looking intently at Nathan who’s face turned sour and became void of emotion.

“Oh, I really thought...” Ichigo shook his head and motioned Carina to walk in the front and meet his trainer.

“She’s a seer too, am I right, Carina?” He asked and the latter nodded. She is still confused by the reactions of the people around her. She shifted her attention to Nathan who is not expressionless and stares blankly in space.

“Then this is a one on one seer training. Thank you, Ichigo. We’re leaving now.” He motioned Carina to get off first and she gladly obliged. He turns his back and was about to walk away when he stopped an inch from the door and speak.

“Find me whenever you’re free,” he said without looking at anyone and then leaves.

Nathan is still dumbfounded by what is happening and his last words have impact on him. He is sure he’s the one he is referring to even after refusing to get him as his student.

“Nathan...” Ichigo called in a serious voice. Nathan snaps back into reality and slowly raised his head and meet his eyes that are directly looking at him. He smirked and pointed his fingers at him.

“I’m taking you, Nathaniel Rosrio... I will be your trainer and you will be my student so... Let’s start our training, shall we?”
