Lisa's Confession

It was a long night at the bar. Things went alot smoother this time. I made no mistakes and Jason sat at the bar where he could keep a close eye on the girls, letting me know everytime a button popped open. It was a bit tighter around my breasts then I had imagined, so every now and then when i stretched my arms in a certain way, a button would pop open.

Not that he had to say anything. I could always tell one had popped by the frown on his face and the direction of his eyes.

I had spoken to Andrew and he said after these two busy nights I could have tomorrow night off seeing as it was a quiet night anyway. I let Jason know and sent Lisa a quick text to let her know that she was going out with Jason, his friend and I tomorrow night. Needless to say, she was way too excited. I didnt tell her where we were going. I wanted to surprise her. She was going to love it.

Half way through the evening Dean sneakily pulled me into the back to have a quick chat. He asked if Jason and I were seeing each other and was quite surprised when i said we sort of were. He said nobody ever sees Jason with any woman but that he is a good guy and that i will be happy with him.

This made my heart warm a little. Maybe the sisters at the home were wrong and not all men are liars and cheats.

Back in the front it was busy again and there was barely space at the bar with rows of people who just came in wanting their first drinks. There was a strange feeling in the air. Tension sort of, but strong. Deans usual happy go lucky personality had turned very serious. Andrew was also looking very serious and he was now working in the front with us and helping customers but he didnt seem like he wanted to.

Jason sat quietly with a frown on his face looking over each person who entered the bar.

"Hey baby. How bout I take you home with me tonight and show you what a real man feels like?" one of the new comers said to me. Jason stood up but Andrew put his hand on his shoulder and told him to calm down and he will handle it.

"Sir we are busy tonight, my staff do not have time to chit chat. If you are not ordering a drink then please step away from the bar to make space for others who are waiting." He looked at me "Clarry move on to another customer, I will deal with this one." he said sweetly.

I quickly moved on and helped a few customers. Being so busy I hadnt noticed Jason had moved away from the bar. After clearing the backlog and finally having a second to rest I saw Jason in the middle of the room eye to eye with another big guy. Their faces told me that something was about to happen.

The other big guy grabbed Jason by the neck and threw him across the table they were next to. A small shriek of horror escaped my mouth and the big guy looked at me giving me an evil looking grin. Jason got up and jumped back across the table lunging himself at the big guy taking out another table.

"Dean we have to do something. Why is nobody doing anything?"

"We cant, its a challenge."

"A what?!" i said quite confused and irritated now.

He looked at me as if he had just said something he shouldnt.

Andrew popped up next to us. "Clarry, this is Ben. Grab your things, he is going to take you home, now."

"But Jason could get hurt. I cant go now."

"Clarry please you need to go. NOW. You cannot be here right now. Jason will explain everything in good time. I will see you Monday same time....... He will be fine my girl. He is a big boy and can handle himself. I quickly grabbed my jersey and emptied my tip jar into my bag. As I was done Ben grabbed my hand a hurriedly led me out to his car. He sped out of the parking, practically drifting onto the road and sped faster than Lisa and Jason combined. My nuckles were white from holding on. Then he practically drifted into my driveway.

"Sory Clarry. Nice to meet you. I will see you tomorrow night and then maybe we can have a proper, less stressful introduction. Now hurry inside and lock the door behind you. Here is my number, if you need anything just call. Ok. Anything. Jason has told me to look after you. "

"Thanks. Is he going to be ok? "

"He will be just fine, now quickly. Go inside. Il ask him to call you when they are done. "

" Thanks"

I jumped out the car and, like i was told, hurried inside and locked the doors.

I ran up the stairs taking two steps at a time and woke Lisa. I needed her right now. Something didnt feel right. Something was very wrong.

Lisa woke up and stared at me like I was an intruder in her home.

"Clarry, WTF, you nearly gave me a heart attack! What time is it?"

"Lisa, something very strange is going on!" I practically shouted.

"What..... What are you talking about? I cant understand you when you so frantic! Come lets go make some hot chocolate and when your breathing is back to normal and you able to put a sentence together you can tell me whats going on?"

"Ok, fine. You look like you need to wake properly anyway."

We headed downstairs and Lisa started making hot chocolate and some cereal. GOD! Is she really eating again?

"Clarry, sit. Stop pacing like that. You making me dizzy."

I sat and figeted with my cup and ate a bit of my cerial which I felt was being forced on me.

"Ok. You seem calmer. Whats happening?"

"I had my date with Jason and it went really well and then he took me to work and everything was going fine and then a whole bunch of customers suddenly flooded the place and the atmosphere in the place seemed to drop below zero and there was sooooo much tension and then some guy hit on me but Andrew sorted it out before Jason could do anything and then I cleared the customers waiting for drinks and then suddenly Jason and some other Huuuuuuge guy started fighting and i wanted to do something coz nobody was doing anything and Dean said we cant because its a chellenge?....... " I stared at her wide eyes for a few seconds and then continued my breathless explanation attack," And then Andrew told me I had to leave right now and Ben would take me home and when we got here he told me to hurry inside and lock the doors! Why do I have to lock the doors because there was a fight at the bar? Is someone coming for me? Lisa I dont know whats happening!" I was practically shouting and Lisa looked like she had seen a ghost.

" Lisa! Say something atleast! Please, i need you right now! "

" Ok...... Um..... Calm down"........she looked worried and distracted at the same time.... " I think its time i told you some secrets, i was going to tell you anyway eventually because I know you wont judge me because you are my best friend and I know nothing could ever come between us..... Right?"

"Right" i said a little confused but calmer atleast seeing as her face wasnt so shocked anymore and she was talking atleast.

"Ok, so...... I dont know where to start.... Firstly, eat, because you making me nervous, ok...... So the world we live in isnt quite as it seems. Humans are raised to believe that reality is fiction. If that makes any sence at all. The pub you work at is a pack pub. It is where one pack of wolves go to let loose and wind down.... "

" Wolves? Lisa this is no time for jokes, im serious! "

" Thats the thing Clarry, im not joking, and i can prove it but I need you to promise me you wont be scared or judge me or run away from me? Please Clarry, try to understand, i will never ever hurt you and I cant help what I am. I was born like this. Its just who I am and if I ever wanted to hurt you, I would have done so long ago right? "

Ok, now it was my turn to have the wide eyed, seen a ghost look!

" Clarry, promise me! "

" Ok, so you are one of these wolves. Lisa this doesn't make any sense! "

As I finished talking Lisa got up and walked to the middle of the room. She turned and looked at me. Then she bent over onto her hands and knees and I heard the heart shocking sound of bones snapping and she started growing fur and her face started changing. After a minute, or so it felt, there was a large light grey wolf infront of me. I stared for a while until i saw sparkles infront of my eyes and suddenly every went black.
