When Savio came to me this morning to say he was hoping to head back home for a few days so he could sort out some personal stuff, I knew it was bad if he was leaving location. Savio has never once let his personal life interfere with his work, but that didn’t mean I wasn’t going to let him go and do what he needs to do.
I need him happy because a happy Savio means work is done and that in turn makes me happy.
“Let me know how things go. I will speak to the director, and I will figure out what I am going to do without you by my side.” I say to him with a slight pout but all he did was pout back.
“I hate to leave you pumpkin, but I need to sort this out once and for all. When I spoke to Andre last night he knew exactly where I was coming from.” Savio says as he picks up his backs.
“You spoke with Andre about this?” I ask slightly shocked and a little hurt he went to him first.
“I did but only because he caught me crying on the beach. To be honest I think I made him very uncomfortable opening my heart that way and sobbing.” He tells me. Now I feel guilty for being jealous that Savio spoke to him.
“Phone me when you need to ok. Don't worry about this place.” I gave him a hug and he left.
I wondered around the set making sure everything was in place and that my job would be safe while Savio heads back home. I catch up Moly and Johnathan as we get a break from shooting. Savio is not mentioned but they both know it must be serious if he has gone back home.
Even though he can be a bit much, I am already missing him. Even more now that I am left on my own with this pair, who are constantly touching and kissing infront of me.
I’m envious of what they have. To have someone to share your news with, someone to hug you when you are sad and someone to be there to celebrate everything good in your life.
I had that once and it didn’t last. I had been with Dan for just over a year before I ended it. He had a bad gambling addiction that caused both of us some financial problems. He got help but by then it was too late.
We still talk when we see each other but I have zero feelings for him. Even though he was perfect at the start of the relationship and seems to have got his s**t together, I would never go back there.
I was lost in my thoughts when a loud shriek could be heard from the pool area. I shot up from my seat and headed towards the commotion only to find Payton at the centre of everyone’s attention.
She is most definitely not my problem, so I didn’t hang around to find out what was going on. I headed back to the office we had in the resort to see the director. I wanted to make sure we were on schedule with filming and that any delays can be dealt with quickly.
I found Andre just leaving the office, he smiled as he passed me by, but the smile didn’t look a happy one. I knocked the door and was granted permission to enter. The director and his other assistants looked stressed.
We got to work, and we had to reschedule a few days for filming as there was an issue getting access to the rooftop of one of the restaurants. Apparently, the owner of the hotel’s daughter was here on honeymoon, and they had booked the place out for a day. Which might not sound much but we needed to change the furniture and get our equipment up there, which would put it back another day.
We all decided to move on from that scene and go back to that when the rooftop was available. I didn’t fully agree that the owner made the shoots when the investors are paying so much to use the resort, but seemingly the owner is not someone to mess or argue with, he has more power than any investor.
We all left the office to get the crew into action for the next few days, moving equipment and making sure costumes and the extras were all in place.
Molly was busy getting her job done and Johnathan the same and was times like this I missed Savio. I work better as a group of with a team, not on my own. I get lost in my own thoughts too much and get distracted, not a great trait to have but I suppose I can only get on with the job now.
A few hours later and several scenes done, more boxes being ticked in my mental schedule. I am pretty impressed that Andre is able to get a scene done perfectly with only a few takes. Payton on the other hand is most definitely not a natural behind the camera.
She had been called out several times for looking directly at the camera making them have to do retakes. By the end of the day I am pretty sure that everyone was exhausted.
At dinner I was thankful that the spoilt brat was not here, but slightly disappointed that Andre was also missing. Molly had mentioned that Payton was told to have her lines for tomorrow memorised as we are too far behind schedule for her to f**k up anymore. So her and Andre are away going through their lines.
I know the story behind this movie and the scenes we are doing tomorrow are all romantic, hand holding and kissing scenes. I never normally get anxious about those scenes, but I think the fact I have a major stupid crush on Andre Bello does not help matters.
I left Molly and Johnathan as they were being all gross and eating each other’s faces and I made my way back to my villa.
The weather had cooled down a little and I welcomed it with open arms. That meant I was not as sweaty and would be able to skip having a cool shower tonight. I gave myself a quick wipe down with a wet cloth and headed outside to the balcony to chill out with a good book for the rest of the night.
It was all quiet in the surrounding villas, a few lights on in some but most in darkness as the sun sets for the night. I was so engrossed in my book that I had not seen Andre across the water in his villa.
It was when my phone started ringing that I noticed he and Payton were walking around with what looks like their scripts. When I saw it was Savio calling me I picked up my phone and headed inside, knowing that they were across the way, would distract me from the conversation.
Hearing Savio happier than he was before he left made me relax. He went on to tell me how he and the boyfriend were coming back, as he has some business out here. He told me not to freak out when he did arrive as this is a big thing for both of them.
I knew that the man in Savio’s life is some high-profile businessman, but I have no clue who it can be. As long as he looks after Savio and treats him right they will get my full support.
Knowing Savio was coming back sooner than I had expected made me smile, it also meant that I had yet another annoyingly in love couple to deal with. I mean why must I be the only one single on this location.
If it's not Molly and Johnathan, Savio and his mystery man then it's Andre and Payton, they all unknowingly will throw their love in my face. I groan to myself at the thought of being the only single friend for the remainder of our time here.
I went back out to my balcony to collect my glass and book it was time for bed and I know I need my sleep. With a quick glance across the water, I notice Andre leaning on his balcony looking out to the horizon.
He looked so peaceful, if only I could see his facial expression, then I would know if he was happy or not. Not that it matters to me, but I do love to see him smile. I sit back down and watch him for a while, well more like to see if Payton is going to join him.
A good half hour later, there was no sign of Payton, which for a couple so in love I think is strange. I mean, if you were in a villa with your boyfriend or girlfriend you would surely stay over and have some fun. That is why I find this whole thing fake.
If I was Andre Bello’s girlfriend, I would happily stay in his villa with him, to stand beside him with his arms wrapped around my waist as we watch the water together. God, why do I do this to myself.
I stomp back into my room and throw myself on my bed, burying my head under my sheet, I pray I will get a full nights undisturbed sleep.
When I wake up I am shocked and happy that I had a perfect sleep last night, no dreams and no thoughts of any actor. That brought a smile to my face as I slipped into he shower. It didn’t take me long to get ready and head out to grab some breakfast. The rom was quiet, actually still quite empty for this time of the morning.
Molly was sitting on her own, so I headed straight there before grabbing food.
“What’s going on?” I ask her.
“You best check your emails.” She tells me.
I pull out my phone and check through the few emails I have, wanting anything to jump out at me. When I see Tim’s name, I click on it and instantly sink in my chair.
“Yip, he sent that late last night and he has already arrived. God that man is sure quick with his travel arrangements.” She says sipping her juice.
“s**t, if he is already here, I better go.” I tell her slipping out of my chair and heading to the office.
Tim wasn’t there, he was apparently at his villa unpacking and will join us in the breakfast room in an hour. I head back there to find the room busier than it was half an hour ago.
Just as I was eating some fruit, in waltzes my boy Savio, who has the biggest smile on his face. He joins us at the table and fills us in on what has happened. I zoned out as I already had spoken with him about it on the phone.
“So, my man will be here for a few weeks, probably until we are ready to head back. I know you guys will be nice but please be extra nice for me, ok?” he says to us all. We all nod our head and wait with bated breath for his man to arrive.
What shocked me even more was the fact that Tim walks into the room and heads straight for our table and slides into a seat beside Savio and kisses him on the cheek.
“Guys, I would like to introduce my boyfriend, Tim”
