Phantom Wolf (Book one)

Winter's Pov I was born on a cold winter night in the year 2001 January 5th and I am part of the Snowfall Pack, it is called that because where, I live it mostly snows every year round accept on, June but only a bit of the snow melts a little bit, the Snowfall Pack has never even experienced actual summer, but I heard that it is nice and hot I wish I lived in a hot place but I don't.  As I hear my father say to me "Winter me and your mom are going out and remember do not go too far out of pack territory, we will be home around tomorrow afternoon we have a meeting with the other Alpha's, Uncle Max will be in charge while we are gone and please stay out of trouble" As I yell back to my dad saying "Okay have fun"  I then hear the front door close and I smile and think to myself *What am I going to do today, I think I will go hunting first and then hopefully I will find a mate* I get off my bed and I get dressed into a very light blue dress, with a long icy blue coat with snow leopard fur on the inside of it,  as I go to walk down stairs to the main floor as I see Uncle Max standing there waiting for me, as I rush over and I wrap my arms around him and say "Uncle Max I haven't seen you in a while why didn't you come to visit, is everything okay with you and Aunt Ella"  Max smiles and says "None the better Winter thanks for asking and the reason, I was gone for so long is because Ella gave birth to two boys there names are, Zane and West I was helping to raise my kids they are now about 10 and 12 now, maybe I can bring them up here one day so they can get to know there cousin, now come on we have to get to the pack well I at least do I know you go out and do your own thing, just be careful while you are out alone" As I nod my head okay and I release my grip from Uncle Max, as I then casually walk out back and I start wandering to pack territory which it doesn't take long to get there, as I then walk out of pack territory and I shift into my white wolf form with black paws, and my eyes are a golden yellow/orange colour as I go walking off trying to find some food. My ears start to twitch as snowflakes hit my ears as I then hear a bear roaring at something but I don't know at what though, as I trot over to see what the bear is roaring at as the bear stopped and I peaked behind one of the snowy bushes, as I see it was eating a snow leopard so now is my time to attack the bear, as I crept up behind the bear quietly and then I pounced onto the bears back and I clamped my teeth down onto the bears neck. As it got startled and started to shake me off of it and I try to hold on for dear life. But eventually my grip loosens and the bear throws me off of it as I yelp in pain being chucked over a rock and hitting my shoulder and my hand hard against it, as I then stand up and my right front paw isn't on the ground, as I limp whining a bit as I then look up at the bear at a very late time and the bear slashes my back deep with its claws, as I yelp louder and I fall onto the ground in agonizing pain as I close my eyes hoping that it would think I am dead. But just then I smell a unfamiliar scent of a male wolf as I hear the male wolf fighting with the bear, after a few moments passed by it was silence as I then open my eyes and I go to stand up but I start shaking because the pain is just to excruciating as I whimper, I then see the male wolf whip his head around and stare at me maybe he thought I was dead as he comes close to me as, I then see him shift back to his original form a black haired and blue eyes maybe six feet I couldn't really tell he was to into looking at the rest of him and his figure. As I shift back to my human form a white and red haired girl with green eyes, as he looks at me and picks me up gently as he says to me "What pack are you from young lady" As I wince in pain and reply with "I am Winter the daughter of a Alpha I am from the Snowfall Pack, also thanks for saving my life"  He then smirks saying "No problem but you shouldn't bite off more than you could chew when you were by yourself, by the way I am Ryan and I am part of the Midnight Frost Pack" As I smile at Ryan and I then cuddle underneath Ryan's chin as my eyes close because I am starting to lose consciousness from losing to much blood, for a brief moment I heard Ryan running somewhere and then it goes black but after a few minutes that it seems I start hearing Uncle Max's voice saying to Ryan "What did you do to my niece" Then I hear Ryan say "She bit off more then she could chew she took on a bear by herself if it wasn't for me she would have been dead, don't let this rivalry of our packs get in the way of this I came here to bring her back"  As I open my eyes as I smell Ryan's scent and I look around saying weakly "Uncle Max don't fight please" Then I pass out again as I feel Ryan lay me down and he shows Uncle Max the claw mark that the bear gave me. I then hear Uncle Max say in a firm voice "Get bandages and stitches and lots of cooked red meat now!!!"As I hear Ryan's footsteps walk away as I mind link to Ryan and I say "I am sorry about my Uncle he gets too over protective over me I am his only niece he just wants to keep me safe maybe when, I am awake and healed somewhat we can hang out together just us and maybe we can show my, Uncle that even enemies can be friends maybe more" As I open my eyes as I see Uncle Max watching me carefully as he is sitting on a chair being a fidget, as I go to sit up as I wince in pain, holding myself from screaming out in pain, as Uncle Max stands up and says "Woah woah woah take it easy your back is clawed up pretty bad you have to take it slow and no more hunting right now not until you are fully healed, I would never forgive myself if you died on my hands, the pack is going to bring you food from the hunting trips you are going to be staying in my sight in the pack"
