6 DCI Jack Culverhouse’s briefings were legendary amongst those at Mildenheath CID. There was no predicting how they’d go or which format they’d take. It all depended on his mood. The level of autonomy Culverhouse and his team were given was something they didn’t take for granted, but certainly made the most of. The atmosphere was generally far more relaxed than in most major incident teams, although the pressure tended to be far greater.
