"Hey." I said, my voice shook a little. I pushed Skip gently off of me and sat up, crossing my legs. Skip sat next to me and I patted his head contently.
"Are you alright?" Jake bent down to my level then and I avoided eye contact with him. He looked at my face for a second and then furrowed his brows but didn't say anything else.
"Yeah I'm fine, I'm just thinking you know?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Hey I know I probably shouldn't ask you this because it's none of my business or anything but have you been crying?"
