CHAPTER 9 – Those pair of eyes

Caroline’s POV

I can’t believe that the bad boy of the high school just saves my a**. Goosebumps arises in my body when I heard it. Without any word Tyler left the room.  

“His behavior is strange” Doctor said while writing something on the prescription.

“What do you mean by that” curiosity started to rule in my head.

“I mean he was never being kind or helpful to anyone other than his friends. It is your first day of the school and they love to bully the new comers. I am glad that you are lucky” I feel glad that I am lucky a**.

“Seems like you are good to go Ms. Caroline. Have a rest when you reach home” I nodded with a smile.

How do I say this to mom, I am sure she will be upset to hear that. So I decided to not to tell any of these drama to her. I sighed and came out from the medical room. Every one of the school started to look at me and I walked towards washrooms with lowering my head. Don’t they have any work rather than watching me and laughing to me?

“Hey nerd” I heard one boy screamed to me. Is that a name to call? I got really hurt. I know that the rest of my school life here is gonna be a hell with these badasses.

“Are you deaf clown?” he came to me and pull from my shoulder.

“Leave me” I mentally cursed him and rolled my eyes to him.

“Oh look nerd is talking also” boy started to make funny of me. Others got surrounded by both of us. Few bitchy girls started to laugh at me. I think they are a gang.

“Hey leave her” I heard a deep voice from behind the crowed. The rowed moved away.

It’s Tyler, the bad boy. I looked at him with my large eyes.

“Tyler, come on man, we can have some fun with the clown” the boy said and Tyler gave him a death glare.

“Who gave you the right to bully her?” he asks with full of anger. The boy seems like got frighten and I mentally clapped for Tyler.

“Come on man, we are on the same side” he came forward with his wide open armed.

“We are not, and keep one thing in your peanut mind, do no ever make me anger by bullying her. If she get bully, it’s only by me none of you have the right” Tyler roared by pointing his index finger to the boy.

Wait did I hear it correctly, is he going to bully me? I took my bag and ran to the wash room. My heart is beating so fast.

Caroline you are in a big mess buddy. I washed my face and went to the cafeteria. I have to attend to another class. I checked my schedule and anyhow found the class. Luckily there’s no Tyler or Nethan. I breathe a sigh of relief. I attentively listen to the English literature teacher. He is a kind man.

As soon as the school finish I started to walk home. I have to walk around twenty minutes. I slowly stepped forward. I felt like someone was looking at me. I turned around and roamed my eyes rather than an occasional vehicle on the road is nowhere to be seen except for the windswept trees and vines. 

I feel tired and exhausted when I reach to home. Seems like mom and dad didn’t reach yet, I got the extra key from my bag and open the door. I went to my room with heavy steps and kicked my shoes in the air. My body bumped in the bed mattress few times and settled down. It is the worse day of my life. I thought my cousins are the irritated ones, but no here I meet a bunch of a******s. I got so many pet names, nerd, clown, puppet I don’t know whether anyone can remember my name. 

I removed my jacket and took the towel to go for the bathroom. I need to have a cold shower to calm my body. I still feel like someone is watching me, I watched here and there, but there’s no one. May be the result of the panic attack I had today will cause to feel me like this.  As soon as the cold water hit my body I hissed. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the coolness of the water. I finished my shower and wore a pair of comfortable shorts and a skinny. I wear this type of clothes only inside the house, when I go out I fully covered my body and go, because I have a body thrown into the wind.

I went down for my lunch which mom prepared and freezer. I took it out and microwave it. As the loneliness wore on I put on a song. I swing my body and skinny waist according to the rhythm.   As soon as I finish my lunch I went back to my room, I need to have a nap to be refreshed for the rest of the day, and otherwise mom will catch me. Oh yeah trust me her sixth instinct is much powerful than you think. I took a book from my cupboard and went to the bed. 

This is my favorite place of all, my bed. This is the only place where I get a warm welcome! I started to read the book. I started yawning and unbeknownst to me I fell asleep. 

I see fire, fire flames are going high and I trapped in between. I can’t breathe and the smoke is surrounding me getting increased.  

“Help, somebody help” I cough and I can clearly see the exit. I started to walk by touching the walls but I couldn’t breathe. Then I collapsed. 

Wake up Caroline, it’s a dream. You need to come out from the dream. I woke up with cough and my body is in heat and the bed sheets are drenched with my sweat. 

I was shocked by what I saw above all that.

Those Emerald green eyes are looking at me again exactly above from me!
