The doctor prepped Adam's arm the best that he could. He pumped him full of antibiotics. He asked the nurse to draw his labs to see if his organs could handle the strain of the surgery that he needed on his arm.
The nurse, Shelly came back. "Here." She handed the lab work to doctor Orr, the surgeon.
"He's getting worse. This may save his life. It may kill him."
"We better call his family, Avery Moore," nurse Shelly had suggested.
Avery didn't answer. She was in the middle of a police chase at the time.
