"Pull the trigger now!" Halos mabingi ako sa sigaw niya. Paulit-ulit sa utak ko ang sinabi nito.
"No! I can't." Nanlalaki ang mga mata na saad ko. The muscles of my face clenched.
"Pull the trigger or else I'll kill you!" Mariing saad nito sabay tutok ng baril sa sentido ko.
"Yes! Kill me.!" I shouted at him, I'd rather die than–
"Or I'll kill her instead of you." Muling saad nito na ang hawak na baril ay inilipat sa sentido ng babaeng nakaluhod sa gilid ko, habang hawak ng mga kalalakihan ang balikat nito para hindi makapalag.
