“Close your eyes, Ava…”
I take a deep breath and then do as Tori requests, closing my eyes, and waiting for further instructions.
“Your ability to do magic will get better over time, Ava. Just like shifting did…it takes time, energy, and practice. The first step though is getting in touch with it. You have to bond with it, Ava. The same way you have bonded with your wolf.” Tori continues, her voice carrying a hypnotic quality “You have to connect with it…. Become one with it… and let it become one with you”
Tori stops for a moment, taking a breath and considering her words “Picture your magic as a living, breathing thing. It lives inside of you, Ava. I want you to reach for it, grab it…. Hold it tightly.”
