Episode Nine

"What a price, you possess an astounding aesthetic, Lady. Tell me your name." It wasn't a request, Jessy found it like a demand. Her wild imagination earlier was wrong, partially. The elders they were talking about are not exactly old people with layers of wrinkles in their skin. There are seven of them well built and with strong bodies, but a hazardous aura. She found it weird to look at them with the same aliveness and aged. 'There must be some age gap,' her thoughts interfere with her. Causing her focus to shift back to the person who was staring at her intently. Waiting for her answer, obviously the same with others who eat elegantly and in a silent manner. Greg, as usual, was wearing his stolid expression, he was like having his own world while he swallowed his food. There was Samantha, who ate with a full boost of appetite together with Teo. She had wondered how they managed to stay calm and energetic. "Jessy." Her voice was dry, she just had the guts to swallow the food on her spoon. The man who was opposite her chair, smiled. But it wasn't a kind of smile to rejoice in. She could sight a tiny menacing expression of his perfectly curved lips. Along with them was a woman who was wearing a lucent tight red dress, it reached her knees. Exposing her porcelain and unscathed skin. She could only guess that the woman was in her mid 30s, gorgeously screaming like a goddess. Her deep blue eyes could possibly lure someone just by looking at them. Slender nose and perfectly heart-shaped face. 'How come she maintained such a fit body?' No man could dissent her perfectly curved body. Thithero, her eyes instinctively traveled to Greg. That was also furtively stolen glanced from her direction. "Such a real price, you are one of the lucky-good-for-nothing-women who easily entered this place." Then, her unstoppable petulant rises with the woman's rancorous statement. 'What?' "I strongly disagree, ma'am. I had never wished to be in this menacing place in the first place. Although my impecunious life was good for nothing," And that's it, she vied in waywardness and induced bloodcurdling of herself. 'Great,' She could only wish to be swallowed by the floor when realization hit her. Samantha's wicked laugh destroyed the silentness of the dining hall, followed by Teo, who was trying hard not to sound enjoyed. She looked at Greg, who didn't have any reaction to the tension. Continuously, the man on the right side clapped his hands clearly. The others were eating calmly like nothing had happened. "Is that so? You have got a sharp tongue lady. I'm curious if you could still behave the same way after it's cut off," Truly, those deep blue eyes cast away her dying so hard bravery. But her stubborn guts wouldn't let her be muted. ' What's the point of dying without mocking her ,?That's kinda sad.' Maybe she was too flustered and confused about how to act, latterly she found herself laughing at her own foolishness. Her shoulders were starting to ache after she had shaken them obliviously. "Pardon me, my wound just aches." She muttered playfully as her heterochromic eyes were glued on her. That's when she had caught everyone's attention, including Greg. "Wow, I never met such a brave lady until now." This time it was the green-haired man who spoke bluntly. Without any idea, her heart began to beat rapidly. She saw Greg's expression harden. 'Now I'm doomed,' "There's some personal matters to be discussed with her, I'll borrow her first." He stood up and grabbed her arms afterwards. Greg didn't wait for anyone to speak. Her flesh went numb, which made her unable to feel pain. "If you still want to get out of here alive, cut off with your nonsense! This is not the place for your bravery, woman!" He well-nigh whispered. They were both back in the pathway where she had walked earlier. "Forget it. If you grabbed me because you were scared to see me dying, there's no need. You can close your eyes.!" She couldn't help but to be more stubborn. Her foolish instinct was shoving her to be. Every time it does, she loses control of herself without thinking about the consequences. " Damn it woman! You have no idea what they were capable of! If you wanted to die, not in this place!" After that, he stormed out in front of her, only to leave herself dumbfounded. 'What now,? Wait for them to vie from killing me,?' She was furious and raging in fire while she walked heavily back to the dining hall. "Then so be it here! It's not like I will escape death!" Her blunt voice interrupted everyone who were standing still as they gave respect to the person who had just arrived. 'f**k it,!' The next thing she'd noticed was the two 45 calibers placed coldly on each side of her head. "Give me the honor, brother. I'm quite interested in this lady." The gray-eyed man spoke stolidly. Suddenly, the fears and shaking nerves came back furtively to her sanity. Her lips were pale and parted. "What a coincidence, Rod. Turns out we are interested in one woman now. This is lovely, isn't it, Miss?" She didn't know if she'd answer him. Her thoughts were also confused. Both of them were trying to win over who would have her, and she found it funny in the midst of her death. " I could do a mini-mie-mo guess, if you guys find it hard. " Now, Samantha spoke. But she wasn't the woman whom she normally had talked with back home. "What is it all about, Gregory?" Jessy's attention caught the old man in his 60s, but way stronger than some average seniors. Then she had realized he was the elder they were talking about. 'And what are those people then?,' her gaze travelled at the woman who was now looking at her plainly. "She's part of the clan, now." Greg muttered as he threw deadly stares at her. The news made everyone surprised for a moment. "Good choice," The woman's deep voice snapped the others' sanity after she left the dining hall. "I will be glad to speak with you alone, lady." The elder's grievous tone gave goosebumps to her.
