MARRYING MY BROTHER'S ENEMY

Prologue

Charles POV

I was wondering where the hell is Mr. Celso Juarez, this is the first time that he didn't show up. It's out of his character, he is not the irresponsible leader that I perceived .

Something must be of great importance of his absence in our important meeting . Si Juarez ay Isa rin sa top five na mabagsik sa underground world . Hawak Niya ang Ilo-Ilo City.

"Boss isn't that your wife?" Alfonso pointed to the little thing that looked confused as she crossed the wide estate of the Martinez mansion .

Nang mabuksan na ang bakal na gate ng mansion ay agad na pinaharurot papasok sa balwarte ng estate ang aking Rolls Royce na minamaneho ni Alfonzo .

He is not only my right hand, but we grew up together in this business as best friends. So , I let him drive my favorite car .I was sitting in the passenger seat.

"Stop the car .." I commanded as my little wife is now looking terrified, contemplating where to go . Ang akala ba Niya ay kaya niyang takasan ang gated mansion ng mga Martinez ?

Umiling ako habang bumaba ng sasakyan, I slowly walked towards my little wife , who seemed shaking. She doesn't even notice the car , let alone my silent step. This is the good thing about our vast estate, you'll never know who was lurking behind you, waiting to attack and get you . Napapalibutan ito ng mga mayayabong na punong kahoy at malagong halaman . It was my father's idea , just in case the enemies can penetrate inside the Martinez abode, which is next to impossible by the way.

It will take a miracle for an outsider to get in and supposing they did , they couldn't see the outside world again . I smirk as I get nearer to my terrified wife . She was standing beneath a mahogany tree I thought she was thinking of going down the cliff ? Wrong move , my men are watching that isolated area of the estate.

"Going somewhere?" She gasped when she heard me .

She instantly turned around to face me and stab my left arm .

I was surprised of her sudden attacked since I didn't notice the weapon she was concealing . It was a knife . But when she saw the blood that was gushing at my arm, she covered her mouth and widened her eyes.

"Come with me." I held her small waist with my right arm but she started to scream and wriggle.

"Leave me alone , you monster !" She shouted at me trying to be free from my grip. She was crying and fighting so hard from my grip that I lost my patience and hit her hard .

She fell to the ground .

Crouching beside her, I said ."If you ever think of escaping once again , you are responsible for your parents death !"

She stiffened as realization struck her.

"Think about it , little one . " I cupped her now bleeding mouth . " You cannot escape from me...not until I find your brother . Until then , you belong to this estate . You belong to me!" I hissed at her stricken expression.
