CHAPTER 29
RAYA
Although I had estimated that there was a ten percent chance I would bump into Janna on my way in, it was hard to contain my surprise when I swung the door open to see her standing right there, her eyes narrowed as she observed me curiously.
I froze, my mind roaming as I wondered how to react. My stroll the night before had turned into a short nap, and before I knew it, it was morning already. It was too early to head back to the suite without looking suspicious, so I stayed outside. I knew I could get into trouble. But it was almost 8am, I thought. The chances of Janna being awake by this time were extremely low seeing as she never woke up early. But here she was, eyeing me curiously and waiting for an explanation. I was convinced now. Nature was playing tricks on me.
