As Minella sat in the train taking them to Southampton, she thought that once again she was starting off on an exciting adventure that she had never expected to have.
Ever since the Earl had told her that she was to go with him to Cairo, she had felt that she must be living in a dream and that nothing that was now happening could really be true.
