I woke up in Malakai's bed and rolled over to look at him. He was fast asleep. It almost looked like he was smiling like he always did. More grinning, that devilish grin he would give me, usually before he was about to pounce. I'd never get tired of this face.
It was 5:30 and every muscle in my body protested as I got up out of bed to use the bathroom. For some reason, I didn't want to go anywhere or do anything today... I had an unsettled feeling in the pit of my stomach. I couldn't place it, but it didn't feel right.
Thank God it was Saturday and I could stay with Malakai all day. I'm sure we'd go to Levi's house and work on some music.
