"Well, I sell jewelry for a living and that pig-headed man happened to have a very thick gold chain hanging around his neck. Anyway, I didn't know how to choose, so I saw that gold necklace and had an affinity for him, that’s why." Daisy blushed.
I could really flog myself for this. Had I known earlier, I would not have worn this damn gold necklace.
