Uniquely White.

CHAPTER 14

It’s almost dinner time and I still haven’t gotten ready yet, secretly I have been hoping that my dad will walk throw the front door and surprise me with him coming home early, then we could both do this together.

“Carter, what are you thinking about?” Grace askes

“Just how much easier this would be if my dad would have been here to come with me.”

“You and your dad are close huh?” Stacey Says noticing my uneasy look

“Yeah we have been inseparable since my mum died.” I try not to tear up, god I swear I’m going to have to switch my emotions off soon.

“Can I let you in on a secret Carter? Only Grace knows about this so you will have to promise not to tell anyone. It’s just I noticed you have the same sort of emblem as me on you necklace and if it means what I think it means, well you’re not completely alone.” Stacey says trying hard to not look nervous, but it feels like she’s trying to ease my worry by telling me this.

I look at her necklace and can see the resemblance, it is not the same but very similar I wonder if the same which Kate organised to enchant mine did hers, I mean that is if she is a white wolf.

“I promise I won’t tell a soul.”

“I’m a pure white wolf, my special power is that I can manipulate fire. I can show you if you like?” she says eagerly

“Yes please.”

With that she takes her necklace off and strips down to her bar and undies she starts to shift and soon enough there is this beautiful white wolf standing right in front of me, she wasn’t lying at all. I feel my face light up knowing there is someone I can talk to about this, she notices and gives me a nod and starts shifting back I grab a blanket for her and wrap it around her body until she gets herself dressed. I grab her necklace and give it to be to put on but she tells me to hold it she still has one more thing to show me, suddenly she walks over to my candle and lights it with her hand then draws more fire into a ball that Is sitting above her palm.

“This is only basics of my power Luna, I want to be completely honest with you, even help you when you need it. You don’t need to worry when it comes to Grace and Sebastian’s family I promise.” She says trying to reassure me.

“I only shifted on Wednesday before school, Evan and his friends got me so mad I lost control and my wolf force shifted with me, only Evan and Luna Kate know about this she got this charm enchanted for me to keep me safe. I don’t know anything else about me or my wolf, Luna has said that her witch friend has offered to train me in magical control to also help me with knowing what special power I was gifted.”

“Carter this is amazing! I bet it is the same one my grandmother took me; she truly is amazing. Oh, I can’t wait to introduce you to my nanna, she knows everything there is to know about white wolves.” Stacey says excitedly. Grace tries to calm her down by telling us how long we have before Curtis will be here to pick us up.

“Okay, I feel better now so, let’s get ready.”

with that we finished getting ready, Grace picked out a nice white top to go with my usual black jeans and boots as my wardrobe doesn’t consist of any pretty dresses. Curtis arrived right on time and escorted us to this nice restaurant in town where everyone was waiting, Sebastian was waiting outside for us and walked us into where is parents also my Alpha and Luna were sitting down waiting.

“Mum, Dad I would like you both to meet my Mate, Carter Morgan.” Sebastian says proudly.

I give them a smile “It’s nice to meet you both.”

“Like wise Carter, your dad and I go way back. How is he these days, was he coming to dinner too?” his dad says

“Oh, please forgive my Husband Carter he really isn’t the formal type, my name is Lisa, and this is Isaac, please take a seat.” Lisa says

I look at Sebastian with a smile letting him know I’m okay with this now, “That’s fine Luna Lisa I’m still learning formalities myself.” I smile and she laughs as she gets my humour. “My dad is away on business for the pack he left the day before my birthday but should be back later tonight or early tomorrow.” I say to Alpha Isaac.

He smiles, “Well, I cannot wait for him to find out his little girl is mated to my son, any way let’s get to know you. Luna Kate has told us nothing, but nice things and your old Alpha has done nothing but groan the whole time she speaks, care to fill us in.” he says with a smirk.

I look at Alpha John and Luna Kate and give them my best smile. “Well Alpha John and I have a love hate relationship, he is also my God Father as you would have heard last night, for some reason I always manage to annoy Alpha John so we tend to have that affect when it comes to talking about one another.” Alpha John is laughing along with Alpha Isaac apparently my honesty is on the funny side tonight. “Luna Kate is my God Mother and has always been there to support me through everything, especially after my mother died.” Everyone gives me sympatric looks, but Sebastian and Alpha john watch me closely making sure I don’t switch off my emotions, strangely enough sitting here next to Sebastian has given me some form of emotional strength I just smile through it.

“Well, Let’s get off the tough subjects now, what is your plans now that you will be Luna of The Purple Moon Pack once my son takes over my Position when he turns 18 and finishes College. When can we expect you to arrive into our pack and enrol you into our college?” Alpha Isaac cuts right to the chance.

“Isaac give the poor girl a chance to even digest all of this our son is lucky to have even been given a second chance after he second guessed her to begin with.” Luna Lisa says to him while eyeing her son.

“You told them!” Sebastian says to his sister

“Of cause I did, who else was going to make you fix things if you chose to ruin things.”  Grace says in defence.

“Children Please! I can’t believe you are both 18 next year and you carry on like this especially in front of people.” Luna Lisa uses a very angry tone to her voice.

To save any more arguments I jump in with my response. “It’s okay Luna Lisa” she cuts me off “Please just Lisa Hunni.” I smile and nod “Sebastian and I haven’t really talk much about everything, but he has allowed me some more time with my dad, at least until I finish off high school in 2 months’ time and can say goodbye to my friends properly.” I nervously say hoping they also approve.

Alpha John starts by saying “Your dad will be fine love you won’t need to worry about him, as for your friends I’m sure they all understand what it means once you find your mate.” Lisa looks really annoyed at his response and cuts him off. “Carter Hunni, that sounds perfect we all know how much your dad means to you, and how hard it will be at first, Your human friends are so lucky to have a kind caring friend like yourself sweet heart if finishing this last year of high school is what you need then we will all support you.” She says while specifying ‘Human’ to Alpha Isaac, so he understands which he then agrees.

I smile at her wondering who had told her about Maney and Charlie, when I look over at Grace, I have my answer and just giggle to myself. Eventually we had our dinner and just had some light conversations throughout the rest of dinner. Curtis and Sebastian ended up taken us both home and making sure we had gotten inside okay before leaving us to the rest of the night to ourselves, where we watched a few movies and got to know each other a little more until we all feel asleep sprawled out in the lounge room.
