This is amusing , I know I should just stand and watch , but I can’t .
Seeing the rage build up in his eyes , it’s satisfying to my soul . It brings a ease to my heart that I can’t shake , it makes me want to smile .
“I can’t .” Alison steps back and I wish she would just rap her arms around me and tell me that she’s choosing me .
I wish she were my mate , it would have been so much easier and I don’t think I would have turned out this way .
She’s the reason I’m getting help , and I am going to help her — she can’t go back with this dimwit , he can’t even protect her .
“You can’t ?” Isaac asks confused , his eyes narrowing into slits as he glares down at her . I could feel the anger radiating off him , he’s genuinely pissed off and he’s directing it towards her .
