" I can't believe dad let you swipe the card for that much money ." I scoff , shaking my head in disbelief . " Your dad loves you and he agrees with me . He'll understand once his eyes meet the gorgeous shoes ." my mother shrugs it off and I shake my head at her . I can't believe that she made him do this . My father isn't one to spend money on unnecessary things , when we were young and asked for money , he always asked what we needed it for . If it were something stupid , like for sweets when we already have in the kitchen , he would say no , unless we were specific on what we wanted .
