"You guys should keep it down," I replied, as Eyolf stood up and grabbed his schoolbag.
"Mom, I believe the school bus is here," he remarked as he stepped out the door, and Kiara grumbled as she walked behind Eyolf with her school bag.
"Kiara, you haven't had anything to eat yet," I reminded her. When this girl, my daughter, gets furious, she loses track of everything around her, and that sort of anger is not healthy, and anyway, I sometimes wonder where she got such a character from or could she have gotten it from me when I was younger, but as I grew older, my temper lessened, and I became calmer in my actions or could it be the father?
I could remember his temper quite well.
I rolled my eyes as she added, "I don't want to eat what Eyolf cooked." She pouted.
"Kiara," I called out, but she ignored me as I chased her down. She followed Eyolf inside the school bus, and the driver waved at me at that point.
"Good morning, Miss Athena," Eric is the school bus driver who takes my children to school. When my kids started school, I asked him to keep an eye on them for me, and he agreed, and we've been friends ever since.
"Good morning, Eric," I said. I waved back, and the bus began to move after my children boarded. Eyolf and Kiara both waved at me, but Kiara didn't do it properly. I'm guessing she's still enraged.
I sighed when I walked into my house, which was drab and silent.
When I entered the kitchen, I noticed that it was spotless; I assumed Eyolf had cleaned it.
I mopped virtually the entire floor and even cleaned my room. After I finished, I took a bath, cleaned myself, and clothed myself before going to the kitchen to eat Eyolf's toast bread that he prepared. I went to the living room to sit down and watch TV after boiling some water for tea.
After about thirty minutes of watching TV, I realized my phone was ringing. I looked at it and saw that it was my best friend phoning. I answered the phone after picking it up and she told me that she would be coming in a couple of minutes. I was thrilled and hung up the call.
Suddenly, I heard the doorbell ring and I quickly got up, she must have been back, I thought.
To my shock, as soon as I opened the door, I sniffed some pheromones and my eyes widened in panic. A tall built man was standing in front of me, smiling and his eyes widened in awe.
Mate, he is your second mate, Ninola.' I screamed at the top of my lungs, stepping back away from him, memories of what transpired ten years ago came flooding back.
"NOOO.' I screamed.
Cathwulf's Pov.
I pushed open the door, rushed inside and carefully dropped down the heavy box on the floor, panting and walked towards the window, admiring the clean and quiet environment. I was glad my mom rented this type of house in such a neighborhood and it was fantastic too.
"You like the house, Cathwulf, I love this place,' she said happily and I just nodded, not glancing at her and smiling.
"Yep! I love the house and I'm glad you love it," I agreed and touched her shoulder. "Don't worry, I will be done with the rest of the p*****t in a couple of months and the house will be fully ours."
"You've done more than enough, my son, thank you so much." I smiled, buttoned her sweater properly, gave her a warm hug, kissed her forehead. "I haven't done more than enough, mom, you are my mother and I wish to do more and make you happy, you are the best mom in the world and I love you so much."
My mother is in her late forties, humble and kind to everyone she sees, still as gorgeous as ever and I adored her. Five feet tall, black hair tied into a bun, wearing a couple of white sweatpants and sneakers, red lips and had the shape of a heart on her expression, and she is the luna of the pack, an Omega. Yet, she still has enemies, who gives a damn about that.
"I love you too, my boy." She said and removed some dirt from my hair smiling. "When will you be done with the p*****t, I hope it's not that much since you refused to tell me the price of this house."
I rolled my eyes. "Mom, you worry too much…"
"That's the problem we have anyway, she worries too much. You could have just been done with the p*****t, since you got the money already, instead of stalling time." My younger sister named Ava, pointed out. She dropped the last box down the floor. "Well, since we've packed up to this house, it will take us weeks to clean up everything.' She said and yawned.
Ava is a nineteen years old girl, decent, sweet and naive, but she has a hot temper as well and doesn't listen to anyone especially when she is angry and likes to burn things down. Also, she was the second born in our family and she's an Alpha, who sometimes leads the clan to victory. Ava is an attractive lady, got curves in the right places, slim stature, more than five feet tall, red lips, red hair, black eyes, pointed nose with a piercing on it, had this diamond expression and loves fashion even though she is the daughter of an Alpha, who was supposed to love War and not fashion.
"Yeah, I intentionally stall the p*****t, we rich folks always have a way of spending our money, investing…"
"Yeah, investing, creating some interest of 10% per income, the same blah, blah, blah and blah.' She rolled her eyes. "Don't you ever get tired of saying the same thing over and over again, come on, stop talking like an old man. You're still young, knock it off, dude."
I laughed.
