David’s POV
I decided not to mention anything to my mother, I wanted to catch her off guard and maybe she will be off balance enough to tell the truth. I heard when the upstairs window opened and when Isla and Adam jump into the room.
I heard my mom car when shedrove up the driveway. She walked in with a pizza and some other groceries. I took it from her and put everything in the kitchen.
“Hey mom, want to come sit with me while, before we have dinner”
“Sure, you know I love to sit with my kids, want to talk about something”
My mom walked over to the couch and sat next to me.
“so, where did you say Isla is, Dave”
I could hear my sister and Adam coming downstairs
My mom immediately jumped up
