And The Winner is…

"Go out that door and look for Angie in the front row," Lion orders before walking out to Gray's side. Fiona, Bax and I walk quickly to where he told us to. "I had no idea who Gray was," Fiona says once we are already seated. They call Jake at this point and he comes out with a big smile, raising his arms. It should be mentioned that many more people shout for him, "Nor him. I don't know many things about my own clan, maybe that's why so many people say I live 'in my world' whatever that means." "It means you don't notice what's going on around you because you only pay attention to what you want and not everything you should," I explain, trying not to hurt her feelings and say something worse, like saying it looks like one of her mental wires is disconnected and she's got two screws loose because she's kind of... weird. But if anyone is weird here, it's me, so it doesn't bother me at all. "I'm scared, I seriously don't like seeing these things," Angie complains next to me with a shaky voice and grabs my leg really hard, squeezing too hard, "Look at him, he's a helpless little boy, he shouldn't be doing that." Bastian makes an affirmative sound and when I turn to look at him, he looks like he's going to throw up. He obviously doesn't want to be here and watch his little brother fight. And to be honest, I don't like the idea of watching Gray get beat up either. But at least I'm going to watch two shirtless men having a lot of sëxual tension while trying to hurt each other. Sounds like foreplay. The moment they call the fight to start and they hit their gloves, I swallow and ignore everything around me, just focus on what's happening in front of me. Gray and Jake put their hands in defense position and start circling around without throwing any punches. Jake attacks first but doesn't land. Some female fans behind me start screaming Gray's name in unison very loudly and I get very tense and uncomfortable with their presence because almost all of the girls who claim to adore him and think he is the best fighter in the world and in the galaxy, hate me. So it doesn't make me feel very safe sitting in front of them. "Come on, Gray!" a girl shouts, too loudly and he turns to her, losing focus completely and letting his guard down. That gives Jake the opportunity to punch him right in the mouth in such a hard way that makes my heart go crazy and wakes up my wolf, who for some reason wants to go save him. Lion freaks out at this and starts yelling a bunch of curses that I don't fully understand. I cover my eyes because I realize Gray will lose again. It's obvious. The poor guy isn't even defending himself well, he just has his hands on his face and Jake looks like a gladiator as he throws punches like he's a machine, hitting Gray in the head and in his stomach several times, backing him into a corner. God, how sad, he's going to be humiliated again. I've seen videos of boxers before, but I've never seen their punches be this fücking hard and powerful. I think it's because they're werewolves, but even so, it's too much. What if they die? Is that normal here? I don't take my hands off my face. Two rounds go by and apparently from the moans and groans of the girls behind me, Gray is still losing. "Is your friend losing on purpose?" asks Fiona, but I still don't turn to see what's going on, "He's laughing." That makes me take my hands off my face and see this for myself. Fiona is right, Gray is hallucinating from the punches or something, because he looks amused and chatty as he tries to throw punches. One or two do get to Jake but most are useless and not as strong as Jake's. Also, his lip is busted and so much blood coming out of it that it's running down his neck. "Get mad!" Lion yells at him so loud I can hear him clearly, "You need to get mad! Stop playing!" Gray doesn't do anything to let him know he heard that, he keeps saying things, probably not very friendly, because Jake looks ready to kill him. However, when he's hit Gray in the same spot three times in a row and yells something in his face, everything changes. Gray pushes Jake with his entire upper body so hard that he drives him to the other side of the ring and then hits him with a straight punch to the ribs that knocks him out of breath and honestly may have broken his ribs. He then pushes Jake's hands away with one of his own and with the other slams his face repeatedly, causing the man in control up there to pull them apart. Jake looks like his whole face is broken, for real. They go to their corners and Lion gives Gray so much water that he chokes him, making several people laugh, and then wipes his face while scolding him severely. Gray is so angry he doesn't even want to sit down, he’s still standing with the same position of destruction and the second he's called to go back and start over, he lets loose on Jake with extra power, stunning him completely. It's obvious that Jake is already a little tired, but Gray has all the energy in the world and that makes more than half the people here go crazy. Gray turned into a hurricane. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god," I voice, unable to stay quiet, or sit still. I rise from my seat, following Baxter, who is so excited he's even making sounds like he wants to talk. When Gray unleashes an extremely loud punch to Jake's head and knocks him unconscious on the floor, I scream as loud as I possibly can. All the people do too. "The winner!" announces the gentleman, after checking on Jake, and walks over to Gray to take his hand and raise it, "Grayson Baylor, The Neeeew Kid!" The crowd screams like that nickname is so cool and I squeal with excitement when I see his face. He's extremely happy. And when he sees me, he motions for me to come to him, which of course I do, because my wolf wants to make sure he's okay. I walk quickly until I'm at the side of the ring and then climb up quite gracefully A lot of people probably saw my panties underneath my skirt because of the way I bent over. When Gray hugs me, the whole crowd screams again and the gentleman on the microphone says that the winner does know how to pick them. I don't like the comment, but I appreciate the sentiment that comes to me when I understand he's saying it because I'm pretty. Or at least very sexy. "I'm so happy, Angel," Gray says into my neck, still not letting go of my hug, "I never thought I'd win. I never win anything." "I never doubted it," I lie, and pull away from him a little, then climb down from the ring with much more care. Everyone is at Lion's side when we get down and they hug Gray, even Fiona. Baxter almost knocks him to the floor with the big hug he gives him. "I want to celebrate! Let's have a party!" exclaims Gray when we are back in the dressing room, walking back and forth, "I want to go dancing. I want to go to another clan. I want to... I want to... I want! Do you want to, Mid?" "Want what?" I ask. "Everything. Let's go to a party, you can bring your friend Fabiola if you want," he shrugs, "Let's go to the beach okay? We'll get Hans to come with us, he's been bugging me too much because we don't invite him anywhere. We'll bring alcohol and have our own party... if I had more friends, I'd invite them too, but I don't know anyone else. What do you say, Bax?" "The nearest beach to is about an hour away, but it sounds like fun to me. I agree" he signs and Gray hops over to him to hug him again. "Can we?" I ask Lion. He just sighs and shrugs, "We're going to the beach! How exciting, I've never been, can you go, Fiona?" "Where to?" She asks, smiling at me. "To the beach," I repeat, even though I just said it, "Can you?" "Sure," she replies, shrugging, "Can we stop by my house to get my bikini?" "It's almost snowing," Lion says, "You shouldn't go in the water. Just... contemplate or whatever. But don't go near it and especially not if you're drunk. I don't want anyone to die." Grayson doesn't even give me time to get in the house when we get there, as soon as we get out of Lion's truck he takes us all to his car and we head towards his friend Hans' house and then head to the beach. "Why does it smell so bad?" complains Fiona as soon as she gets in the back, with Baxter beside her, "Are there any dead animals around here?" "No, it's just my dirty clothes," Gray replies and starts, "Get used to it because the smell never goes away." "I'm regretting coming with you," Fiona squeals and when Gray lowers his window, she reaches over to stick her head out there. I'm a little envious that I can't do that. "You're not a dog, Fabiola. And you're distracting me. I'm already breaking too many traffic laws for you to add another one." "What laws are you breaking?" "Well, for starters, this car isn't safe enough to be on the road. The plates aren't up to date, one of the taillights is no good, I have five unpaid tickets, and I don't have a license." My mouth drops open and my heart stops for a second in fear that we will be pulled over. We could all get in jail for that. "But you're a... decent driver, how come you don't have a license?" "It's not 'prudent' for someone with my 'condition' to be behind the wheel," Gray says, doing a lot of air quotes and rolling his eyes, "So they said, but I don't have any conditions anymore so it doesn't matter. Besides, I've only been in two accidents and neither of them were my fault." We all stand in complete silence, fearing for our lives, but Gray parks outside a rather nice house and gets out to go get his friend. I don't know what this Hans guy looks like, but I hope he's cute and fun. I want my first beach experience to be unforgettable, some action with a cute guy. Better yet, with three cute guys, just for me. And Fiona.
