Kayla’s POV
After the banquet, Nathan drove me back to the front gate of the Westminster villa.
"Thank you for taking me home, Nathan," I turned to him and expressed my gratitude sincerely.
However, quite unusually, Nathan had a somewhat forced smile on his face. He looked into my eyes but didn't say anything, just nodded.
I hesitated and withdrew my gaze, placing my hand on the car door. Just as I was about to press the door release button, Nathan suddenly stopped me.
"Wait! Kayla!"
