Chapter One
You should read my first two books first. They are another side of Twilight, Breaking Dawn, and A Jacob and Renesmee Story: Everlasting Love, or you'll need clarification. Anyway, enjoy!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Renesmee's P.O.V. It has been a year now, and in September, I'll be almost nine, which means I'll soon be nineteen in vampire years. This also implies that I won't age anymore after this year. I will complete High School and graduate this month. Chloe, Courtney, and Hannah are all also graduating alongside me. Chloe is still dating Henry, but they are taking it slow since college is starting soon for Chloe. I have considered college, but what has been the point since I married Jacob and joined his pack? Jacob will need me by his side to help him run his pack. Speaking of getting married to Jacob, it's been a year since we got engaged, and now we're planning the wedding. We started the wedding preparations. Aunt Alice was eager to help me plan this wedding. She has not stopped asking me about my wedding ideas. It stresses me out because I'm still trying to focus on the exams I'm studying for. I settled into the main house's kitchen to organize my thoughts. I searched for magazines of various colors for bridesmaid dresses. Alexis and Katie are from Alaska. They agreed to be bridesmaids, but I didn't tell them the dress color. While browsing the magazine, I stumbled upon lavender bridesmaid dresses. It looked amazing, and I wanted to try that shade. I messaged all the girls to inform them about the color. Jacob and I have also compiled a guest list for the wedding invitations. We want the packs, my family, Jacob's family, and my friends to come. As for my wedding dress, we have yet to pick it out and buy it. I was nervous, though. I had never tried on a wedding dress. So, I looked through bridal magazines to understand what I wanted. I desired a dress with a puffy appearance but not too big. I want to resemble a princess, with sparkles at the hem and lace at the gown's bodice. While examining the dress, I sensed a person pressing their face against my neck and kissing it. I recognized Jacob by the tingles. I flipped through the pages as I spoke. "You shouldn't be here. I'm looking at wedding dresses right now." Jacob remains silent as he kisses my neck and shoulder, sending shivers down my spine. He then whispers in my ear. "I wanted to see my fiancé because I haven't seen her all week," Jacob embraced me, placing a gentle kiss on my head. Although he shouldn't be present, his hugs were impossible to resist. It's incredible how warm they are. They have a calming effect on me when I'm stressed. I embraced him as I stood up, and he hugged me back. "I have been so busy studying for exams next week. I even have graduation and wedding preparations to make," I said. Jacob stroked my arms to calm me. "Yeah, I can tell, but you need to relax. Doesn't Alice have this wedding covered?" he asked. "Yeah, but I have to explain how I want everything to be. It's so stressful," I said. I bury my face in his chest again, and Jacob acknowledges it by embracing me. His arms are where I could stay forever. "What about you? Have you and your groomsman done suit fittings yet?" I asked. "Not yet. I've been waiting for your decision on the color scheme. What color scheme do you want to do, anyway?" Jacob asked. "I want to do the color lavender." Jacob nodded. "Okay, I'll let my groomsman know, and we can figure out the suits," he said. I nodded. "You could've asked me to study for exams together. I could've helped," Jacob said. "Yeah, but even if I did, you would distract me like you're doing right now with me in your arms," I said. Jacob smirked. "Yeah," he said. As I moved away, I shook my head with amusement. Jacob glanced down and noticed the ring on my finger. He kissed my fingers with a smile, sending tingles throughout my body. "The greatest day of my life was when you agreed to marry me," he confessed. His words made me smile. Jacob gazed into my eyes and then glanced at my lips. When he moved in to kiss me, I kissed him back as soon as our lips touched. Jacob took hold of my waist and drew me nearer to him while I encircled my arms around his neck. He intensified the kiss. He slid his hand down my thigh and raised my legs. I wrapped them around his waist. Next, Jacob placed me on the table. His touch on my thighs sent tingles from my legs to my core. He touched my inner thigh with his right hand, then moved it towards the top of my pants. To prevent it from moving any further, I placed my hand on it. I shook my head. "As much as I want you to touch me, we can't," I said. Jacob smirked. "Who claimed I desired s****l activity?" he questioned. I gave Jacob a look. "Isn't it obvious?" I asked. Jacob rolled his eyes, moved out of my grip, and placed his hands on the counter beside me. "What happened to you when you needed me to pleasure you?" he asked. "That was when it was necessary, but the heat stopped," I responded. Since I have been busy and stressed about the wedding, my thoughts have been elsewhere, and my heat has cooled. But I'm not complaining. I needed it to end. "I wonder why," Jacob said, looking away from me. I grabbed his face and looked into his beautiful brown eyes. "We can still do other things like getting dinner, swimming, or hiking. I want to do it how we did," I said. Jacob grinned. "Sure, we can do that," he said. "Good," I said. I bent down to kiss his lips, and Jacob responded with a kiss. We heard whistling and saw Uncle Emmett and uncle Jasper in the doorway. Uncle Emmett smirked. He asked, "Don't you guys think it's a little gross to be kissing at our kitchen table?" I rolled my eyes at uncle Emmett and smirked. "No, not at all. It's fun. Maybe I should take it to the next level here?" I responded. Uncle Emmett looked disgusted. "Please don't," he said. I'd rather not see you guys do it in here." Jacob laughed, and I smirked. I jumped off the table as my mom, dad, aunt Rosalie, and aunt Alice walked in. Mom walked over to me. "Hey, sweetie, since we are all home, Rosalie, Alice, and I were wondering if you wanted to look at a wedding dress?" she asked. "Huh, sure," I responded. "Let me get my things, though, and can I bring my friends and Sophia so they can pick out their bridesmaids' dresses?" "Huh, sure, but they must meet us there." "Alright, I'll let them know, but what's the place called?" "It's called Black Diamond Bridal." "Alright." "We'll get the car warmed up." "Alright." Uncle Emmett and uncle Jasper went elsewhere while everyone else departed. I picked up my phone and called Chloe, Hannah, and Courtney. They all said they would meet us there. My mind drifted to Sophia. She needs to meet us. Seth is with her. In case you weren't aware, she's been hanging out with Seth. They've been together for almost a year now. Things have gotten serious, which worries me because of her age. Mason has enjoyed getting to know Seth but is encouraging them to be cautious. I sided with him to avoid a similar fate to what I was facing - having a child at fourteen in vampire years. My heart soared with joy as Seth and Sophia followed Mason's request. They kept their relationship slow. Jacob and I returned to the cottage to get my purse and shoes. When I did that, I saw Jacob standing in the doorway. I need him to call Sophia to meet me at Black Diamond Bridal to try on bridesmaid dresses. "Jacob, can you check up on Sophia and tell her to meet at Black Diamond Bridal to try on bridesmaid dresses?" I asked. "Huh, sure," Jacob responded. "Thanks, well, I had better go." As I was about to leave my bedroom, Jacob grabbed my arm, causing me to stop. He pulled me into his embrace, and I felt his chest. "Jacob, I have to go," I said. Jacob smirked. He said, "Not before you give me a goodbye kiss." I rolled my eyes before leaning in to give Jacob a quick kiss. I attempted to break free from him, but he had a firm hold on my waist, preventing my escape. "No. A proper kiss," Jacob said. I rolled my eyes. "Fine," I said. I leaned in and kissed his lips again, and Jacob reciprocated. After a few seconds, I withdrew and glanced up at him. "There, are you happy?" I asked. Jacob smirked. "Very," he said. I shook my head in amusement and walked out of his arms. "Bye," I said. "Bye, babe," Jacob said. I walked down the hall, opened the door, and shut it behind me. Next, I returned to the main house, where aunt Alice, aunt Rosalie, and mom waited for me in the car. Sophia's P.O.V. I've been hanging out with Seth all day today. We watched movies at his house and then went to the beach to hang out with his friends. Despite that, Seth and I have been having a blast together. I can't help but feel immense joy in his presence; he is an incredible and delightful individual. I appreciate that he is outgoing, a quality I like in a guy because I love being outdoors. Also, things have gotten serious between us since we have been dating for a year, so we must take it slow. I don't want to have kids at fourteen in vampire years. I wanted to enjoy my teenage life. Even my parents talked about this with me, about taking it slow, and I agreed with them. Seth's doubts gnawed at him, but he went along with it. Also, Seth and I have told each other we loved each other. I grew to understand and connect with him deeply. I realized he was the one I wanted to spend my life with. Seth and I were the only ones lying on a blanket on the sand. I had my head on his attractive and well-built body, which I adore. Although he didn't have Jacob's physique, he was still in great shape. I played with Seth's shoulder-length hair, which he had been growing for a year without cutting. Although it made him look attractive, I'll ask him to chop it off. I got a message from my phone and sat up to check it. It was from Jacob. I opened the text message to read it. Jacob- Hey, checking up on you. Your mom told me to tell you to meet her at Black Diamond Bridal to try on bridesmaid dresses. "Who's that?" Seth asked. "It's Jacob, letting me know about wedding stuff and checking up on me," I responded. I replied to Jacob's message. I- Alright. I'm hanging out with Seth right now. I'll get him to take me there. I put my phone away and looked down at Seth, who smirked. "What?" I asked. Seth shook his head, looking down at the sand. "Nothing," he said. I moved closer to Seth. "Tell me," I asked. "Isn't it too old for Jacob to still check on you?" "Kind of, but he's going to be my stepfather soon, so I have to respect him, and besides, he's like a second father to me." "He shouldn't worry. You are with me now. I'm your imprinter. I can protect you." "Yeah, I know, and he knows that." Seth wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer. "He better. You're mine now," he said. His possessiveness made me roll my eyes. He has become possessive. It's attractive but can be bothersome. I can see why my mom gets annoyed with Jacob sometimes. Seth bent over to kiss my jawline and then my neck. He discovers the perfect spot on my neck and sucks on it. In my ear, he whispers something. "When can I mark you?" I sighed, knowing that someone would bring up this topic. "I don't know. My mom told me I could go through heat, and I fear that happening to me." I said. Seth smirked, pushed me down on my back, and climbed off me. "I can help you with that," he said. I observed his face, realized what Seth meant, and shoved him. "Seth, no," I said. Seth chuckled. "I'm kidding, but you know I love you and want to claim you as mine," he said. I sighed. "Fine, but not yet. I have to go." I said. "Where are you going?" Seth asked. "I have to try on bridesmaids' dresses. Also, don't you have suit preparations? You're the groomsman for the wedding." "Not yet. Jacob was waiting to ask your mom what color suit she wanted." I nodded. "Well, I had better get going," I said. I tried to stand, but Seth pulled me back and leaned in for a kiss. I couldn't resist kissing him back. After a minute passed, I moved back, and Seth gazed at me with desire in his eyes. "I love you," he said. A smile spread across my face. "I love you too," I said. With a grin, Seth kissed me once more before we stood up. Seth drove me to Black Diamond Bridal and left me there. I went inside and discovered mom waiting for her bridal gown. "Good, you're here. The dress color I chose is lavender. You can choose any bridesmaid dress you want in that color," Mom said. I nodded and started looking for a dress in the color she wanted. Upon finding one, I proceeded to the dressing room to try it on. I designed a plunging V-neckline. The bodice had a surplice style with pleats and a waistband. The waistband would highlight my body shape. It also had spaghetti straps. Ruche panels created a keyhole on the back. I walked out to the mirror, and mom, aunt Rosalie, and aunt Alice approached me to see how I looked. They all smiled. "That one looks so beautiful on you, Sophia," Mom said. "Same." Aunt Rosalie and Alice said. "Is this the one you want?" I observed myself and noticed that I looked good in the dress. I nodded in agreement, and mom's friends arrived, causing them to gasp. "Omg. That looks so good on you." Chloe said. "Thanks," I said. "Same." Hannah and Courtney said. "Alright, I'm getting this one then," I said. I headed back into the dressing room to change. Renesmee's P.O.V Sophia went and changed clothes. The lady from the store came over and brought my dress. I was planning on making alterations to it. I tried on the dress with aunt Alice's and Rosalie's help. The dress was off-the-shoulder. It had lace at the top and sparkles on the puffy section. It was what I pictured my gown as. Now, I need a veil. The lady assisted us in choosing a veil. She presented me with a gorgeous long lace wedding veil to try on. Then, we selected the bride's shoes and other necessary items. After putting everything on, I went out, and everyone looked at me and gasped. "Mom. You look so beautiful." Sophia said. "Thanks, sweetie," I said. Chloe smirked. "Omg, Jacob cannot keep his hands off you all night when he sees you in that," he said. I blushed at her words. I hope Jacob likes the dress on me when he sees me in it. "Same." Courtney and Hannah said. "Well, we got to go. We'll see you at school." "Me too," Chloe said. "Okay, wait, Chloe, Can I talk to you about something?" I asked. "Sure. What is it?" Chloe asked. "Can you be my maid of honor? I don't have anyone yet." Chloe's eyes widened, and she gasped, but her expression became confused. "I thought Alice was your maid of honor?" she asked. "No, she's helping me with everything, but she's not my best friend. I want my best friend to be my maid of honor." I responded. Chloe smiled. "So, will you?" I asked. "Of course. I would love to." Chloe responded. "Great. You must complete a few tasks." "Like what?" "You'll see when we get there." "Alright." "Well, I better go." "Okay." We embraced before parting ways. Next, we purchased the wedding gown and Sophia's bridesmaid attire. Following that, we made it to the vehicle. I entered the car, and we left the parking lot, heading home. When I arrived home, I entered the main house. Aunt Alice carried the dresses upstairs to keep them safe. Sophia was texting someone, and I caught her in the act. With her phone tucked away, she directed her attention towards me. "Who were you texting?" I asked. "Oh, Seth. He wondered if I had got my dress and what the dress looked like." Sophia responded. "What did you say?" Sophia smirked. "That was sexy," she responded. I had a wide-eyed expression. Sophia had never been like this before. "What did he say?" I asked. "He can't wait to see me in it," Sophia responded. I couldn't contain my admiration for their cuteness as a couple, so I smiled in awe at them. Sophia found the perfect match. Seth is a fantastic person. I entered the kitchen and sat at the table. I took out my magazines once more to peruse wedding decoration inspiration. "Well, I'm going to go to my bedroom," Sophia said. I gave a nod, and Sophia departed from the room. I glanced at the magazines to find more inspiration for my wedding. I wanted a beach wedding a while ago but still needed to choose a theme. I chose a princess' wedding gown, so a fairy tale theme would be perfect. I flipped through the pages and admired the colored flowers. I liked the lavender and white roses. Aunt Alice walked in. "Hey, Renesmee. Are you looking for more ideas for the wedding?" she asked. "Yeah, and I found something I like," I responded. "Ooh, let me see." Aunt Alice sat down next to me, and I moved the magazine toward her and pointed toward the flowers I liked. "Ooh, that's pretty. I see what I can do. I'll take a picture." Aunt Alice said. Aunt Alice took out her phone and took a picture. "Okay, do you have ideas of what you want the venue to look like on the beach?" Aunt Alice asked. "Not yet," I responded. "Do you have any long-standing wedding desires?" "Well, I've always wanted a tent-like roof box at my wedding ceremony with flowers on it." "Ooh, that seems interesting; I'll see what I can do. Can you suggest more ideas for me to implement?" I continued to think. I used Pinterest instead of magazines this year to decide what I wanted, so I shared that with her. "Yeah, have a lavender mat for the walkway with flowers flowing on each side. Then a lavender fabric on white chairs tied around the chair into a bow," I responded. "Oh wow, you have been looking?" Aunt Alice asked. "Yeah, this is like my dream wedding, almost." "I can see that. Is that all?" "Yeah." "Okay, what about the reception?" "Oh, hum. I prefer rectangular tables facing the ocean, avoiding direct opposition." "What do you want on the table?" "Hum, I haven't decided on that yet." What if we put candles on the candle stand when it gets dark outside? We can put white and lavender flowers between the candles." "Ooh, that would be pretty. We could have treats on small plates when they sit down." "Okay, that seems cute. I'll get on with the preparations. " "Okay, thanks, aunt Alice. Can you share all this with Chloe to help you?" "Sure." "Thanks." Once aunt Alice exited the room, I shut the magazine and stood. I wanted to hunt because I was hungry and needed to run to relieve the stress of wedding planning. I informed Sophia that I'd be back later. I left the house and traveled through the forest. I ventured until I was several miles away from home. I reached the peak of a hill and stopped. I caught the sound of a deer and sought refuge behind a tree. As it approached, I reacted with a start, seized it, and indulged in its blood. Once I finished, I cleaned my face. I went to see my fiancé, even though I had seen him a few hours earlier. He had a way of always soothing my anxiety. I texted Sophia again to let her know I was heading to La Push. I rushed through the woods, leaped over the river, and reached the pack's territory. I sprinted through the forest. Then, I smelled a wolf. I paused at the sound of a twig snapping and looked around. I heard bushes rustling. Upon turning, the sudden presence of a wolf greeted me. I felt relieved when I saw it was Jacob. It was his reddish-brown fur that gave him up. He growled, so I gave him a curious look, wondering the reason behind his growl. Jacob hid behind the tree, transformed into a human, and emerged wearing shorts and a shirt. With a stern look, Jacob drew me near. "Nessie, what are you doing here? This is your second time doing this. I thought you were another bloodsucker, crossing the territory by how fast you ran. You're glad I recognized your scent," he said. I gave him a guilty look. "I'm sorry. I was hunting and wanted to see you," I responded. "It's okay. Give me a heads-up when you do that. Also, does your family know you're here?" Jacob asked. "No, but I told Sophia," "Okay, well, since you're here. I've wanted to show you something I've been building with my pack for a while." "What is it?" "It's a surprise." "Of course it is." With a chuckle, Jacob reached for my hand. I went wherever he led me. After ten minutes, we arrived at a massive log cabin. The building had many windows and a balcony on its second level. The house driveway also featured benches in front of a fireplace. I looked at Jacob with a curious expression. "Jacob, what is this?" I asked. "This is where I live now," Jacob responded. "I moved in with my pack. I wanted it to be a surprise when I shared with you." "You moved out of the apartment?" "Pack wants to live together. Why not build a home?" I nodded. Jacob looked at me. "And I wondered if you wanted to live here with me?" he asked. "Wait, you want me to move in with you?" I asked. "Yes, after we're married, Sophia has plenty of room to move in. It will allow her to be closer to Seth since he also lives here." I smiled. "Really?" I asked. Jacob nodded. "Omg, I have to see the house," I begged. Jacob laughed. "Sure," he said. Jacob guided me to the entrance, used his key to unlock it, and entered. As we stepped inside, it resembled a typical house on a larger scale. Since Jacob was an alpha, he had an office next door. Also, there was a living room straight ahead. "What do you think so far?" Jacob asked. "It's beautiful," I responded. "I'm glad you like it. Let me give you a tour. Down there are Embry and Quil's bedrooms." Jacob pointed down the hall past the kitchen. I nodded. "Let's go upstairs," Jacob said. We went upstairs to a large room with game consoles connected to a big flat-screen T.V. I gave Jacob a look. I asked, "You're still playing video games?" "Kind of. Seth or Quil play, but Embry and I sometimes play," Jacob responded. I nodded. Jacob led me down another hall, walking past a bedroom. I looked at it with a curious expression. "Jacob, we skipped a room," I said. "We will come back to that one," Jacob responded. "I want to show you something." We continued down the hallway and reached another bedroom, where we stopped. Jacob opened the door. The room we entered was empty. It only had a bed with purple sheets and a nightstand with a lamp. A T.V. was also on the wall above a T.V. stood in front of the bed. "Whose bedroom is this?" I asked. "It was made for a girl. I thought of giving it to Sophia before she moved in with Seth. He lives across the hallway, on the same floor," Jacob responded. I nodded. "So if in a couple of years, when Sophia moves in with Seth, whose room will this be?" I asked. "I don't know. We can always make it into a nursery when we have kids someday," Jacob responded. My eyes widened. Having children again hasn't crossed my mind, especially with Jacob. I want to start a family with him. I smiled. "Yeah, I would love that," I said. Jacob smiled back and pulled me in for a kiss. I kissed him back. I pulled away to take a breath. "Okay, what's next? I want to see the other rooms," I asked. "So, there are two more; both are empty," Jacob said. "Oh, let me guess. When the kids get older, they have their own bedroom." "Bingo." "Alright, take me to your bedroom." Jacob chuckled. "Eager much." He said. I rolled my eyes before leaving the bedroom. Jacob guided me to the initial bedroom I noticed in the hallway. "This bedroom you saw is mine, soon to be ours," Jacob explained. I stepped in and glanced around the area. It was massive. The significance surpasses all previous bedrooms I've seen. Dark blue sheets and white pillows adorned Jacob's bed. His windows also had dark blue curtains. I walked in and spoke. "It's very nice and cozy," I saw a T.V. on the T.V. standing in front of the bed. "Thanks, it's not much, but..." Jacob said. "It's fine. I love it." I said. Jacob smiled and pulled me close again, wrapping his arms around me. "I know you will. That's one thing I love about you," he said. I returned his smile, gazing into his eyes as I embraced him. After a stressful day, I only yearn to have him cuddle me. Jacob bent over and kissed me, and I kissed him in return.
