Reunion
“Two boys!” Esha exclaimed.
I smiled up at my sister but I was exhausted after such an intensive delivery.
“Couldn’t give us twin girls, could ya?” Sherry asked, jokingly.
I would have said something back but I couldn’t explain the amount of exhaustion I was feeling.
“You are the worst!” Esha told our cousin.
“You need to learn what a joke is, babe,” Sherry responded.
“Seriously, can the two of you stop fighting for a few moments?” I asked quietly.
“Yes”
“No”
I shook my head, these two were helpless.
My babies were right next to my hospital bed, the three of us had to stay there for a few days, under observation, since they were early and I had such a difficult delivery. But I knew I was going to be okay because I had Sherry, Esha and Aunt Sharon a
