CHAPTER 12: Harker –––––––– Harker almost had to run to keep up with Alison as she hurried across the parking lot and into the grocery store. “Sauerkraut. Where is it?” She looked around. “I want the good stuff. Refrigerated section.” She glanced at him. “Get a cart and follow me.” From her tone, she was on a mission—a very frigging important one. By the time he grabbed a cart she was already heading down an aisle toward the back of the store. “Alison, wait.” He hurried after her, ignoring the stares of the other customers.
