I had been parked outside of the bar for about ten minutes. Kalli had texted me earlier that she had gotten the time off and if we wanted to we could leave for New Mexico as early as tomorrow. My plan was to take her back to her place, grab some more of her things and then head home. That was the plan until I felt her emotions suddenly change.
Feelings of anger swept through me hard and fast. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced and I knew I needed to get to her.
