Kalli The next morning I woke to the sound of Kane’s voice coming from the study. The sun was shining through the window and I started to wonder exactly how long I had slept. When I sat up the memories of last night flashed through my mind. The fact that I had so easily thrown Nicco was incomprehensible. Yes, I trained a lot and I was a pretty skilled fighter, but Nicco was not a small man. Not once did I ever think I was capable of throwing him and ultimately causing the damage I did. The thing that remained the hardest for me to accept was that I wasn't really sorry I did it; not at all. To me, it felt like justice had been served. My eyes met Kane’s when he entered the room.
