Mariana didn’t even want to go anywhere out of the castle and definitely not to go meet a man. She had an odd feeling about that James even though she had met him only once. But now that Rose was asking for her company, Mariana couldn’t say no because she had no reason to decline the invitation. “Alright Rose, I will go with you”. Mariana said flashing her a smile.
“Thank you Mariana”. Rose smiled happily before walking over to her bed to return the letters to its secret place.
The day went on normal without any troubles and Mariana was very glad about that, she had gotten into enough for the day. Not the forget her face which was still stinging as she smiled, but it didn’t bother her much because she was used to such beatings and the scar won’t be anything new besides she had more ugly
