The servants were done with their morning chores, so Mariana was having her breakfast in the room. It was place of boiled potatoes and vegetables with a cup of water. She was munching on her food slowly when Rose walked into the room giggling, Mariana wondered what could be the so exciting now.
“Guess what Mari?” Asked Rose, with both hands behind her, Mari could clearly see she was hiding something behind her.
“What is it? And what are you hiding behind you?” Asked Mariana before taking a gulp from her cup.
