Chapter 7

There are two empty seats next to Baylee, so Talia sits next to her and Drake sits next to Talia. They all started working on their homework on whichever subject they had homework in. While Talia was moving papers of her notes and her homework she got a big papercut on her index finger and picked at a hang nail on her right hand. Those areas started bleeding and Drake quickly turned his face away from her because he didn’t want Talia to see what he truly is. He’s a vampire! He got out his agenda to write a hall pass to go to the library. Drake went up to the study hall teacher Ms. Johnson to sign his agenda for the hall pass. Talia “Drake where are you going?” Drake “I’m going to the library to get my homework done.” Talia “WHY?!” Drake “So that I’m not too distracted by the noise in here.” Talia “There’s something off about Drake.” Russell “Don’t worry about it Talia. I’m sure it’s nothing.” Natasha “Maybe he get’s queasy around blood.” Jackie “You may be right Natasha.” Baylee “Talia, I’m sure he’ll be fine by the time this period is over.” Talia “What time do we have cheer practice?” Baylee “At 3:30 at the gym.” Talia “Okay, thank you Baylee.” Baylee “You’re welcome.”

            It’s the end of the day and Talia finished her homework. She puts her binders back in her locker and she saw Drake at his locker, but he was acting weird when he would look at her. Talia went to him and asked him if she could talk to him in private. Talia “I have to go home and change for cheer practice because I have to be at the gym at 3:30 because that’s what time practice starts. Is it okay if you can give me a ride to my house please?” Drake “Sure, that’s okay with me. I have a car we can take mine. Lucas has his own car, so he’ll take Justin and Nina home.” Talia “Thanks Drake!” Drake “Anytime.”

Drake has a 2016 Audi S4 sedan car, the interior has black leather seats and the exterior color is black. Talia “WOAH! That is one sexy car! Did your parents buy this car for you?!” Drake “Yes they did.” Drake opens the passenger for Talia like a proper gentleman, Talia get’s in the front passenger seat, Drake gets into the driver’s seat and starts the car up. Drake “What is it you want to talk about?” Talia “I need the truth. Why did you leave study hall, so you could go the library?” Drake “I left because of your blood from your hang nail and your paper cut. What I’m about to tell might shock you because I don’t how you’ll take it. I’m a vampire.” Talia “WHAT?! YOU’RE A VAMPIRE?! I want proof!” Drake “My eyes change colors. Sometimes they turn red, other times they’re amber gold and when I’m not all vamped up they’re blue back when I was a human but when I’m thirsty they’re black.” Talia is in shock! Her mouth drops open. Drake “When I’m all vamped up my veins get a little creepy right by my eyes and I’m cold to the touch.”
