Chapter 6

Jackie and Talia see each other in the girls’ locker room to get ready for Gym class and they are excited that they’re in the same Gym class together. The girls change from their school clothes to their gym clothes and head into the Gymnasium. The girls meet up with the rest of their classmates and they realize that’s Drake’s year older brother Lucas is in their gym class too. Jackie “Hey Lucas! We didn’t you had gym this period!” Lucas “I didn’t know I would see you two girls this period especially in Physical Education. What’s the teacher like anyways?” Talia “Mrs. Miller? She’s a very nice gym teacher! I had her when I was a freshman two years ago.” Lucas “That’s good to know.”

            Jackie, Lucas and Talia had gym class and 5th period was over. Talia had to get to her 6th period Spanish class and she had to rush because the class was on the other side of the school. Talia had Spanish class and then 6th period was over. Before 7th period started Talia had to rush from the classroom of her Spanish class to her locker to get her binder for her World History class. Talia went to her World History class for 7th period and then it was over, and it was time for her to go to Study Hall for 8th period.

            Talia stopped at her locker to get whichever subjects she had for homework to get it over with that way she wouldn’t have to do it before cheer practice, after cheer practice or after she had dinner with her family. While Talia was at her locker she saw that Drake was at his locker. Drake walked over to Talia’s locker. Drake “Hey Talia!” Talia turned to him and she blushed. Talia “Hi Drake!” Drake “Are you about ready to head for study hall?” Talia “Yes I am. I just need to get the subjects I have homework so that I can get them done and over with before and after cheer practice that way I don’t have to worry about doing any homework at home.” Drake “That’s a good idea to get your homework done. Do you mind if I walk you to study hall?” Talia “No! I don’t mind at all! You can escort or walk with me to classes any time you want.” Drake “You are such a sweet girl and you’ve been very kind to me.” Talia “Aww! Thank you! That’s very kind of you Drake!” Drake “Let’s get to study hall before we’re late and end up getting a tardy for being late.” Drake and Talia rush to get to study hall before the tardy bell of the final period of the day rang for the start of 8th period. They walk together, and everyone stares at them as they were a couple. They find Russell, Natasha, Jackie and Baylee.
