Chapter 3 The sea had a calming effect on Liam. The fresh air and the lulling, rhythmic sound of waves lapping, or crashing, restored to Liam whatever the day had taken from him. The cool sea breeze blew his mind clear of unwanted thoughts and stresses to make room for more meditative contemplations. Because of this, he returned to its shores whenever he could.
