Chapter 18

2016 Words
The first couple of days after the show you could see the changes that had happened. Paparazzi around corners, the kids at school whispering more than usual and their parents.. Laura had gotten a bit overprotective and when it came to the rumors about Sasha and Luke dating, Paul just shot them down by saying that they will be on to something else in a week and he actually managed to convince Laura that nothing was going on since she wouldn’t listen to Sasha every time she said the same thing. But then again, that was a lie. It was Friday and their parents had decided that all of them needed a break from the rest of the world. The kids had been up to some interviews, Laura had been so busy planning the wedding and Paul had the club that was busier than usual. ”You all packed?” Laura asked as Sasha walked down with her last bag. ”I just need to grab my guitar and I’m all set.” She said as she ran back upstairs. Luke pulled her in for a kiss as she passed his room. ”Are you sure that you can control yourself for a whole weekend around our parents?” she raised an eyebrow at him. ”As long as I get something now and then.” He said and started to kiss her again. She couldn’t help but kiss him back, he was the one for her and nothing was gonna change that.. she hoped. ”Come on guys, we don’t have all day!” Paul yelled up the stairs. ”Coming!” He yelled back as he gave Sasha one last kiss. The car ride over there was kind of perfect since they had two cars so Sasha and Luke took one and Laura and Paul the other. They finally had a couple hours alone for the ride up the coast to the Wilson beach house. Just the simple things as holding hands and talking about everything and nothing was just perfect for them. Fine, they had talked the past week but it was as friends and with other people around most of the time and that just wasn’t the same. They had gotten into the conversation about the newest tabloid gossip about the two. ”I still can’t believe that some people think that. I mean what mentally stable person would agree to something like that?” Luke asked, not that Sasha had the answer. ”That’s what I said! But it wasn’t as bad as the one were we had the same father.. that one just creeped me out.” She said, making them both scrunch their noses. ”Wait people actually think that?” He asked, not believing what she was saying. ”Yeah, dating my half brother.. doesn’t sound so good.” She read the headline in her mind. ”Don’t ever say that again and stop reading those gossip sites, it will only creep you out and I can’t have that.” Luke smirked at her. ”And why is that Mr. Wilson?” She asked looking back at him. ”First of all I wouldn’t know what to do if you freak out about us and left without me.” He was being honest. ”Aww, Luke! That’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard.” She teased him making them both laugh. ”Well prepare to hear more sweet things as long as you keep me around.” He smiled. ”I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else than by your side.” She said and gave him a quick peck on his right cheek. Within an hour and a half they had reached their destination, the beach house. It was bigger and not as cabin-like as she thought it would be, then again what was she expecting after the house she had been living in for the past months and Paul was a rockstar, former rockstar but still a rockstar. It was more of a second mansion than a cabin, actually it wasn’t a cabin at all, who was she kidding this was a palace. A mansion on a private beach in Santa Barbara was her location at the moment. Privacy.. just what she needed, well she and Luke but that wasn’t gonna be easy since they had their parents around just about every second of the day. It was still a privacy that she hasn’t had in a while since she and Luke officially put their names out for the world to see. Not that she didn’t like the attention, attention has never been something she turned down these day but it was getting a bit much even for her. She was trying not to think about it since it was something she was gonna have to get used to and it would probably only get worse with their careers taking over and the wedding.. Damn, she had totally forgotten about the wedding for a moment there. She was snapped out of her thoughts by her mother's voice in the distance. ”Huh?” She asked as she landed back on earth. ”I said that you could go and pick a room if you wanted. Paul and I are staying on the ground floor so just pick any room upstairs.” Laura said with a smile. Sasha couldn’t understand how she had gotten used to all of this so fast.. Then it hit her, they had been dating longer than she had know about things so she had probably been here before too. Sasha snapped out of her thoughts once again but now by Lukes hand on her arm, pulling her upstairs. ”Calm down, I’m coming.” She let out a light giggle as he kept pulling her up the stairs. ”I can’t calm down, you know why?” He asked in a hush tone when they were far away from their parents for him to push her against the wall and connect their lips. ”No self-control?” She said between kisses. ”Not at this moment, no.” He said as he put his hands on the back of her thighs  pulling her legs around his torso before attacking her lips once again. ”Luke..” She let out a soft moan, ”our.. p..pparents.. down..” She moan again, there was no controlling it. ”Downs.. stairs.” ”I don’t care.” He said husky as he kept placing kisses down her neck. To be honest, in this moment Sasha didn’t care either. The paparazzi with all of their flashing cameras could be down those stairs and she wouldn’t mind. This was her moment with Luke and she was mentally battling with herself weather to tell everyone about their relationship and have everyone judge them and possibly rip them apart.. or keep going and only get to really be with your boyfriend a few times a week. It was only one way they could get closer than they already were and that was a step that he fully knew she wasn’t ready for even if every part of her body was telling her differently. The couple broke apart abruptly when they heard footsteps climbing the stairs and only half a second later Paul came up the stairs into the couples view with the rest of Sasha’s bags in hand. ”Thought I’d help get your bags up to your room, so which one did you decide on?” He asked and held up the bags, showing them off. ”Oh, thank you.. I.. well.. Hmm.. I haven’t really made a choice yet, Luke was just showing me my options.” She sight in relief when she finished her sentence, happy to have been quick with an answer. ”Oh, well which one has the most promise?” He was kind of confused by their behavior but he didn’t think about it more than that. ”It was the one with the pool view or the one with the balcony it stood between right?” Luke saved her, knowing each room of the house he had the advantage to get them out of this mess, or at least partly. ”Right.. I still think I’m gonna go with the balcony. There’s just something about a balcony I always liked.” She smiled at Paul. ”It’s settled then, the balcony it is.” He said as he started to carry her bags into the room on the far left of the floor. Sasha glanced over at Luke and tried to keep her laughter from filling the quiet corridor before them. They all entered the room that Sasha had chosen without even seeing and she had to admit that it was a great choice. The high celling, light cream colored wallpaper, huge windows, open space and the balcony.. It was like from a movie and it was hers. ”Well, I’m gonna help Laura with dinner. Feel free to explore the rest of the house Sasha.” He said before he walk out of the room and descended the stairs. The couple followed him with their eyes until he was out of sight. ”You know how close that was right?” Sasha asked as she dragged him into her room. ”Yeah, you should really think about that for next time.” Luke said and leaned against the now closed door. ”I should.. wait what?” She said realized what he was saying and changed mid sentence. ”Well the next time our parents are around and you’re looking like that I’m gonna have trouble keeping my hands off of you.” Luke smirked again. ”Or maybe you should try to control yourself a bit more?” She turned the tables on him. ”Now where’s the fun in that?” He said before walking away to his own room a few doors down the hall. She unpacked her thing before she joined their parent downstairs. This was a family trip so why not spend some time with the rest of them. Entering the living room was like walking into a brides dream. Guessing that her mother couldn’t leave the wedding planning at home for the weekend. ”What happened to get away from everything this weekend?” Sasha asked, looking around at the things on the table. ”Well there’s too much to do in so little time honey. Plus I need all of your help for these things but when it’s done, we are done for the weekend until we get home again.” Laura explained. ”Okay, so what do we have to do?” Sasha flipper through one of the magazines.  ”Well Paul and I went by these flower shops and got pictures to decide on floral arrangements. So what do you think?” Sasha took a seat next to her mom and looked at the pictures in front of her at the moment. ”Okay, so I’m guessing simple but elegant right?” She asked already knowing the answer. ”Yeah, I was first thinking something like this.” She said pointing to a picture of white roses. ”But then I saw this and I started to go all crazy.” She now pointed to another picture. ”I can see why, it’s perfect.” She was almost out of breath. The bouquet was made out of fabric and it was made into this dream bouquet. ”Is it really fabric? cause it looks so real!” ”I know, that was my first reaction too!!” The girls kept talking flowers and hair and all that stuff until Paul came home with some food and for once Sasha got the family feeling even if things where a whole lot more complicated than her mother knew. That new found family peace ran away when her mom started talking guest list and asked if any of them would want to bring anyone. ”Mel and Liam has to be there.” Sasha said. ”I have already counted them in, I was thinking more like dates..” Luke and Sasha got the same weird feeling about that and gave eachother a look before turning to Laura and Paul. ”No, I don’t think so. I mean who goes to a wedding with a date anyway?” Luke asked and really played on the popular guy vibe. ”I don’t want to give the media more ideas to go crazy with.” Sasha said and looked around the room. ”That’s probably a good idea Sasha. They have some absurd stories out there already.” Paul said and it made Sasha nervous. ”Tell me about it and kids at school eats all of it like it’s ecstasy or something.” Sasha saw the look on Laura’s face and decided to calm her down. ”Chill mom, it’s not like real ecstasy and you know it.” ”It still freaks me out.” Sasha just shakes her head and laughs a little.
