“So where were the two of you tonight after the party” I asked curiously, because, as Bryce said, they were not where they normally were. “We were just hanging out in the game room. Figured we would give you some time alone” Brayden answered. “mmm hmm” I said, laughing at their excuse. “What is that supposed to mean exactly”, Brandon asked defensively. “, you guys really” Bryce asked as we both laughed at them. “Why does it bother you to say you two were out with a girl” I asked making them turn all shades of red as we pulled into the driveway of the territory for Pine Hills pack.Warriors stopped us as we got to the gate. “Krista Gregory from Majestic mountain pack” I told the warrior as he came to the window. “Yes mam, the Alpha is expecting you and your group” he answered letting us through. “Well, we know one thing, whoever attacked did not use the front gate” Brayden said taking notice to the security cameras along with the guards. : They could have just put them up” Brandon stated. “No. they had vines growing around the,. They have been up for some time.” He answered as everyone looked at the other surroundings. “That corner back there is where they entered, it appears”, Bryce said, pointing to the right corner of,, a lower field. You could see where the weeds had been pushed down when they walked through. “There, too”, Brayden said, pointing to the other side of the field. Same thing with the weeds.

We pulled up to the front of the pack house where Alpha Karl and Luna Chasity were waiting. I parked the truck as we all got out. I was quickly surrounded by our warriors who were still in wolf form. “Shift guys, there is no harm”, I linked to them. The wolves trotted to behind nearby trees to shift and get dressed while I greeted Alpha and Luna. “Alpha Karl, Luna Chasity, How is everyone? And my apologies, but do you remember these three? They are our Beta’s sons, Bryce, Brayden, and Brandon”, I asked as the guys walked up behind me to greet them. “Yes, the triplets. Always at your side, Krista, since you can all walk” Alpha Karl said, laughing as our medical team came through the gate. “Where are the wounded at Alpha Karl to and I will have our medical team go help”, Bryce asked. The Alpha pointed to a huge building behind the pack house. Bryce went to direct them where to go.

“So what happened” I asked as the Alpha and Luna showed us inside to his office where a few other men were waiting. “Krista, these are the heads of my security. They can fill you in on everything that took place” Alpha Karl stated as he took a seat at his desk. “I will bring you all something cold to drink”, Luna Chasity said. As she was leaving, Brayden stood up interrupting the security guy as he began to introduce himself. “We need medical in here, Luna Chasity. You need to have seat mam. No disrespect at all, but you are injured”, Brayden explained, as he quickly got a chair for the Luna. Warriors flanked around the Luna immediately as the Alpha made his way through them to check on his wife. “Alpha Karl, we need some privacy please” I said, looking at where the blood was coming from. I knew better than to pull the Luna’s top off in front of everyone in that room. “Yes, of course. Warriors, everyone else step out of this room immediately and go get Dr, Sanders” he ordered. I looked down at the Luna , who was getting very pale.

Once everyone was out of the office, I had the Alpha to assist with getting her top off. As I pulled the top over her head, I saw a big, open area to her abdomen. “Luna Chasity, why didn’t you seek medical help” I asked as I grabbed my gear bag pulling out supplies. “I needed to make certain everyone else was getting what they needed.” She answered as tears streamed down hers and the Alphas face. “This is going to hurt a lot. I am sorry, but I need to clean the area”, I said, warning her as I began to clean her wound out and then began packing it as their pack doctor was allowed to enter the office. “Dr. Sanders, hi I am Krista, I have cleaned and packed the area, but she definitely needs more help than I can do right here” I explained quickly as the warriors brought in a stretcher to take her to the hospital. “Do you have enough help and room. If not, I will be more than glad to send her to my pack. I have a team of doctors there on standby if we need them”, I explained. The Alpha looked at the doctor who was already covered in blood and had not had time to clean up before being called. “Krista, if your father does not mind, I would greatly appreciate it” Alpha Karl stated. “Brandon, I need you and a team of warriors to take Luna Chasity to our hospital now” I told him. “Yes mam. We can load her in the medical van now. The nurses are all ready for her” he answered, already anticipating the move. “I want a team of warriors to go first and do a security sweep as you all go” I ordered. “They have already left Krista”, Brandon answered.

Luna Chasity was quickly loaded into the van. “Have Dr. Reynolds call as soon as she is in their hands, please”, I told the nurse. I turned to Alpha Karl, “Sir, I know you want to be with the Luna right now, but honestly you will do more for your pack and her being here. The doctor will call with updates every thirty minutes, I assure you”, I told him. “You are right Krista. Thank you for this” he said as he watched them leave with his wife.

“Are those three gifted” the Alpha asked as we walked back to his office. “No sir, why do you ask” I asked, curious. “The way they can predict what you need and the way they can sense something, like with the Luna. I didn’t even know she was injured” he answered. “Well, No Sir, they are not. That just comes from us being trained together from day one. They can predict what I need because that was the way we were trained. We know what the others are going to do before they do honestly” I answered. “Now if we may discuss the attack. We noticed when we came on their points of entrance. Do you know who it was and why they attacked?” I asked. Alpha Karl looked at me. “It was the Hells revenge pack. They were looking for mates. We have had quite a few turns eighteen recently” the alpha answered.

Cold chills went through me as he answered. The Hells revenge pack was known for their ruthless treatment and arrogant and mean warriors. What they wanted; they simply took. No questions. The pack also belonged to my grandfather. My mother’s father. “Were any of the females here mates for them” I asked. The Alpha nodded his head yes. “Unfortunately, so. Two of them were mates to their warriors” he answered. “Did they go willingly or were they taken against their will” I asked. There was a big difference. Mates were supposed to be given the option of refusing their mate. “Is there really any denying them mates” Alpha Karl asked. “Of course, there is. If the girls went on their own is a huge difference than them being forced to go. If they were forced, then by all means we can get them back. However, if they went willingly I have no grounds to send a team to go get them” I answered. The Alpha thought about it for a moment, “No they went on their own. Their parents protested and that was what led to the attack” he answered honestly. “Well, Alpha Karl, with that being said then it does not sound like any laws were actually broken by them. If they had attacked first, that would be something different. But as you said the parents protested them taking the girls after they accepted them as mates. They had every right to attack, to defend their mates. We will do what we can here to help you all, but other than that, our hands are full.” I explained. “I understand. Thank you for everything you have done and can do. I really appreciate it” Alpha Karl said, shaking my hand.
