Edward pov. My father's demeanor seemed a bit unusual, and a sense of unease washed over me. I couldn't quite put my finger on what was wrong, so I chose not to confront him. As I retreated to my room, a wave of melancholy settled upon me. I sprawled on my bed, fixating my gaze upon the soft glow of the light bulb adorning the wall.
