Sabine swipes her card at the entrance and a pair of double doors slide open. "We"ll get you a pass once we"re done with the tour," she says to Azíl. "Thank you," he responds, but I can tell he"s only partly paying attention to what she"s saying. And I don"t blame him. I"m not sure what I was expecting when Hannah and Sabine talked about the Archive, but this is truly something else. The entrance opens up into a circular room that reaches to the ceiling where a large glass dome lets in plenty of natural light despite the fact it"s only January. "This is amazing," I murmur. "Wait until you see the library," Sabine responds. "Though this is nothing compared to some of the other archives I"ve been to around the world. And I imagine they were nothing compared to the library of Alexandria."
