Let's get married

I was waiting in the swing in front of our house, it took some time for me to prepare because I want to look nice for my bride-to-be.

Shit! Was she seriously about that? although out the day Kaya ignored me, she didn't even flinch when I spoke with her.

There's a lot that I don't understand that's why us meeting tonight is important for me.

I heard the owls howling in the distance and fallen leaves breaking, there's no wolf that will attack me now right?

I looked at our huge house, the kids at school often time ask me and my sister how can our mother support two children by herself and we even get to experience lavish life that others with complete family can't. I didn't think of it much back then but right now I'm questioning it myself.

My mother is caring woman who would do anything for us, but I didn't actually saw her work before and come to think of it she didn't even leave the house since my father left. I don't know how my mother did it but I know that my mom is hiding something behind closed doors.

'Hey," Kaya says pulling me back to reality,

"Oh hi I sorry I didn't notice you coming" I replied still amazed how she got here without me noticing.

"Its... fine..." she seems very distracted and kept on looking over her shoulder, I thought maybe because of the wolves that's howling,

"Don't worry about the wolves, so far they haven't crossed our fence". She just nods and I felt assured.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked,

"Our wedding..." she answered. Again I was dumfounded, how can she talk about it so naturally like it's the most obvious answer for my question.

"Why do you want to get married? and moat importantly, how did you appear in my dream?" .

"Lets get inside there's a lot of bugs out here" she replied without answering my question.

We got inside and I haven't realize that my sister is here, s**t.

"Hi lil' bro!" Mia exclaimed,

"when did you got back?" I asked,

"Since this afternoon, I went Lockwood but it seems that your occupied" she told while scanning Kaya.

"This is Kaya my future wife." I told her without thinking,

"what!? whoa whoa whoa, hold up? what? " Mia was shouting and I can't blame her since the information that I gave her was shocking.

"Mommmmmmmmmm..." Mia called , a few seconds and my mom was infront of us.

She looked horrified at the sight of Kaya.

"Hi mrs. Wyatt I'm Kaya Gunther's bride-to-be." my mom hesitantly held her hand to shake Kaya's.

Did she know her or something, but my mom's face is something else like she was about to breakdown.
