Behind Closed Doors

Not so fast...

"Can we talk in private?" My mom asked.

Kaya, once she agreed they went to my mom's office,

"wow it's her first day here and she already gone to mom's office" said Mia who can't quite believe what she saw as well.

Aside from that, a lot kor questions are going through my mind, one thing is confirmed; my mom and Kaya knows each other.

After a while Kaya emerges from my mother's office, I ask her almost immediately if she knows my mom, she replies

"no. Your mom is just worried about us getting married so quickly, that's why she wanted to talk in private" I nod my head telling her I understand,

"she will talk to you about it later but first, we need to fill up our registration form" she continued.

Once were done with the paperwork, Kaya wanted to go to the registration office as early as tomorrow. I just agreed to everything that she wanted but my mind is going somewhere, like every thing that Kaya is saying is just blurred like she's to far away but somehow I can understand, maybe my body is doing it by itself.

"It's getting late, don't you need to go home?" I asked, okay that was lame but there's a lot of things that I need to digest by myself.

"I don't have anywhere to go" , she replied. What!? another question was added. Is this a scam? everything about this is unnatural and the most troubling is my dream how the f**k did she appear in it.

Mia entered my room and asked Kaya with her very high tone that always irritates me

"you can stay here if you want!" what, did she just asked Kaya to stay?

"If I'm not gonna be a trouble then that's wonderful" Kaya said, what? did she just agreed?

"well since you're going to be Gunther's wife then you should really stay.

I wonder how my family can take this easily, I myself can't even wrap my head around the fact that I'm getting married.

Kaya sleeps in the guest room next to mine, I have a lot of questions that I need to ask her but this day is already tiring as it is, I'll just sleep it off for now and just face it tomorrow.

I woke up in a strange dream where Kaya is trying to get away as far as she can from me, even though I only know her for a day I can feel a strange attachment that I have to her. As I open my eyes I see Kaya in my bed sleeping soundly, I jumped out my bed quickly and the sudden movement wakes her up...

"what are you doing here?" I'm stuttering, she stands up and I almost faint...
