So maybe Frank didn’t have this kind of money. If he’d given the men their money, he’d have no need to blackmail them into working for him later.
Wait, I thought. After Frank captured them, Crab and Duck were told to follow me and Tony while wearing brown. Yet I’d seen someone following me the day earlier. Another of Frank’s men?
I never got a good look at the Man in Brown. But I could very well have been followed at various times by more than one man.
