“HOW’S playing house going?”
Riley made a face when she heard Kenzo say that.
She and him were face timing. At the moment, he was also in his office in the territory.
“Did she accept the mating bond?” She shook her head. “Did you ask her?”
Kenzo hooted in laughter when she shook her head again. He even hit the table while hooting in laughter. Riley could almost imagine him falling from his chair next. She wished he would but it did not happen.
“Man, she’s warming up on you already. Just like any other women, she wanted to be pursued and then ask eventually.”
“I am a woman, too.”
“But you are the one pursuing her.”
“I know, I know. But I don’t want to ask her yet. I don’t want her to think that she has to say yes because of the things that I was doing for her.”
He turned quiet.
